Sorry Garnett, Nazi’s were NOT socialists. In fact the first people they murdered in concentration camps were communists and socialists. Martin Niemoller made a famous speech which Christian homeschooling may have glossed over.

History is well documented. Pushing a book by a prominent Republican revisionist of history whose effort to establish a mythical past about American exceptionalism is characteristic of fascist behaviour.

Which incidentally, is what Nazis were: FASCISTS.

While Marxism did emerge as a philosophy in Germany, fascism did not.

Fascism was conceived in Italy, and promoted by a former socialist anarchist who had been thrown out from the Socialist Party in Italy. Benito Mussolini.

Italy was a fascist state for a decade before Hitler combined Mussolini’s autocratic dictatorial fascist regime’s ideology with the Jim Crow policies of American slave states to develop his own twisted version of fascism. It’s documented in Mein Kampf, Hitler’s manifesto.

Many history scholars have studied how Nazi dogma was developed.

It’s not a secret. It’s well known and thoroughly demystified.
