NEW: Three months ago, a New York Times story tricked America. We deserve to know if Donald Trump is still receiving intelligence briefings. trumpfile.org/is-trump-getti…
"Biden Bars Trump From Receiving Intelligence Briefings"

That’s a really comforting headline, isn’t it? We could all sleep easier at night, if it wasn’t a lie. We have no idea if Trump is still receiving intelligence briefings traditionally shared with former presidents.
Neither President Biden or any government official has, to my knowledge, confirmed the New York Times headline, and no reporter has asked for an update. The Times story stems from an interview in which Biden was asked if Trump should — should — receive intelligence briefings.
To their credit, the Times article never claims that Trump has been barred from receiving briefings. Unfortunately, the average person — including Christine Pelosi, apparently — only read the headline.
Other outlets did better. Newsweek‘s headline was “Joe Biden Says No Intelligence Briefings for Donald Trump: ‘He Might Slip and Say Something.'” Almost accurate. CNN‘s headline was “Biden says Trump should no longer receive classified intelligence briefings.” Accurate.
I don’t condone disinformation on either side of the aisle. However, if a mainstream, corporate outlet like the New York Times is going to publish disinformation, intentionally or not, then at the very least it should not help provide cover for Trump.
I urge readers to pressure the Biden administration for an update on this. We deserve to know if Trump has access to confidential intelligence briefings. While you’re at it, please demand that the president #FreeRealityWinner.

1. On October 5, 1993, Donald Trump spoke before a group of lawmakers and blatantly lied about Native Americans and reservations. Rep. George Miller noted the racism in Trump's comments. trumpfile.org/trump-lies-to-…
Donald Trump: They don't look like Indians to me, sir.

Rep. Miller: Thank God that’s not the test of whether or not people have rights in this country or not, whether or not they pass your look test.

A friend and I watched two political films last night that came out less than a decade ago. Game Change (Julianne Moore, 2012) and Confirmation (Kerry Washington, 2016). In the last four years, the GOP has turned these films into relics from a different United States.
Confirmation is about the confirmation of Clarence Thomas to SCOTUS, complicated by sexual assault claims from Anita Hill. It's a moving film. But the most shocking moments don't feel like an untold story. They feel like a kid-friendly version of the Kavanaugh confirmation.
Game Change tells the story of McCain's 2008 campaign picking Sarah Palin for VP & everything that happened after. As the campaign got to know her, they FEARED that the base would find out how bad she is for the nation. All of those bad qualities are what the GOP aims for today.

Fox News is so fair and balanced and "America First" that Sean #Hannity was getting briefings from Russian chaos agent Paul Manafort during the Trump campaign.
Steve Bannon was very concerned people might find out Manafort was still advising Trump's team. Manafort "resigned" from the campaign three months before this.
"The reality is you cannot count on [Trump] to win a debate."

Accurate.
