The Indian psyche is puzzling.

The Indian consul-general in Hong Kong complained that the price of oxygen generators supplied by China has gone up and urged the Chinese government to lower the price. It's true that the price has doubled because Chinese companies are under

2/pressure to deliver the order of 60k oxygen generators within an extremely short notice. Prices of spare parts and raw material have gone up accordingly. Besides, as time is of essence, companies are working around the clock, they must pay over time or hire new workers.

3/China saw its economy grow 18% and its exports grow more than 50% in the first quarter, resulting in the phenomenon that it's difficult to find skilled workers now. The salaries have gone up too. There's no such thing as slave labor in China. Chinese companies must remunerate

4/adequately. So it's only reasonable the price has doubled for orders to be delivered within a couple of weeks which are carried out in several months in normal times.

Once the oxygen generators arrive on the Indian market, the price further goes up.... to reach ten times...

5/Indian government doesn't seem to be able to curb the domestic speculation of life saving equipments of extreme rarity but urges Chinese government to force companies to cut back prices. India further urges the Chinese government to increase the number of cargo flights.

6/ When the second wave hit India, latter asked the West for help, but India's western allies are either unable or unwilling to help. China's volunteer for help was received with coldness. When India finally accepted China's help, they think China's profiteering....

7/ Meanwhile, India is extremely grateful for the meagre help it received from its democratic allies, and in particular 500 oxygen generators and 500 respirators from Japan...

India seems to think that now that China is the pariah in the eyes of the West,

8/ it can deal with China from a position of strength...🤔

The reason I spend so much time on Twitter is that so many get a kick out of trampling on China... Do they really believe the lie of #UighurGenocide or they are just extremely nasty?

9/ So few see what China has done for the Covid relief of the world, including and especially its proclaimed enemies, in particular the US/West and India...The only thing China has received from them is insult, humiliation and aggression.
