Rather than using the slimmest majority in modern history to enact bills that would fix problems in our election system, Democrats seem maniacally focused on making sure they maintain power.

#HR1 is a straight up power grab. #electionintegrity washingtontimes.com/news/2021/may/…
Many solutions that until recently had bipartisan support as set forth by the Carter-Baker Commission have been set aflame by the Democrats drunk with power and beholden to the radical left.
#HR1 would codify many of the very problems America experienced in 2020 & leaves the door wide open to election fraud. Instead of bringing America together, this bill would pull us further apart as elections would become more politicized, as Dems use #SB1 to secure lasting power.
#HR1 would effectively eliminate state voter ID requirements. Once a fraudulent vote is cast, it becomes nearly impossible to reverse. Effectively sabotaging voter ID laws would only serve to erode public confidence in our election process. #ElectionIntegrity
Voters think weakening voter ID safeguards would be a mistake. Recent polling by Honest Elections Project shows 77% of voters, including 62% of Biden voters, support voter ID requirements. A full 64% of African American voters & 78% of Hispanic voters support #voterID laws
Eliminating #voterID laws are just the tip of the iceberg. #HR1 would make it difficult for states to conduct free & fair elections. Even many Dem election officials have expressed concern much of the bill is unnecessarily burdensome & some provisions are impossible to implement
States would be compelled to legalize ballot harvesting, allowing operatives to collect absentee ballots. Unsurprisingly campaigns have manipulated these ballots in the past, & a NC congressional race was thrown out in 2018 bc of ballot harvesting & an official in MO was indicted
Officials would also be required to count ballots arriving more than a week after Election Day. Turmoil would become the norm, with elections frequently resembling the NY congressional contest that took over 90 days to decide due to the state’s cumbersome ballot-counting process.
Forcing states to adopt these one-size-fits-none rules would damage our republic by sowing doubt about the results of future elections before votes are even cast. Instead of federalizing election law, states should be able to craft laws that work for them. #ElectionIntegrity
Far from empowering American voters, this power grab would make a mockery of the American election process in the name of expanding Democrat’s seats.

We must push back against this power grab and stand strong for #electionintegrity and the future of our republic.

From requiring a mask outdoors, to subjecting citizens to gov’t pre-approval for a BBQ, to restricting the free exercise of religion — enough is enough

The unending control over people’s lives must end — that’s why I filed suit against St. Louis Co today
3 weeks ago I sent a letter to St Louis Co expressing deep concern about the ongoing Stay-At-Hone-Order & asked for evidence for their extreme restrictions. Not only did they ignore our request for justification, they pulled a bait and switch & issued a new amended order
After review of the amended order it become clear, given the number of typos & blatant inconsistencies that this was rushed out the door in an attempt to appease our office and avoid litigation.

It did not. #COVIDー19

The PA Sup Ct decision-allowing ballots after the election without even postmark overstepped its constitutional authority, encroached on PA leg authority & violated the Election Clauses. Therefore, we are seeking #SCOTUS review & reversal of the PA Sup Ct. wsj.com/livecoverage/t…
The PA leg decided to allow mail in voting ONLY if ballots were received by Election Day. The PA Ct rewrote the law to allow ballots to be counted days AFTER the election & not even postmarked. We’re asking #SCOTUS to take the case & reverse. Legislatures set rules for elections
Further, the PA Supreme Court supercharged concern of mail in ballot fraud by allowing mail in ballots to be received several days after Election Day without a postmark. Americans deserve to have faith in their elections. Big important principals are at stake here.

St. Louis prosecutor Kim Gardner is engaged in a political prosecution.

I entered the case seeking a dismissal.

As AG I have a duty to protect the fundamental rights of all Missourians including the right to keep & bear arms in self-defense of one's person & home.

A THREAD
The right to defend one’s person, family, home and property has deep roots in Missouri law. Self-defense is the central component of the right to keep & bear arms, which receives the highest protection from the MO Constitution. #2A
MO statutes specifically authorize citizens to use firearms to deter assailants & protect themselves, their families & homes from threatening or violent intruders. #2A
