1/ @ProjectSerum and the vision to flourish the ecosystem no.2
The next part to help you understand more about the idea behind Serum and provide a list of exciting projects built in the ecosystem.
Based on Serum, SRM, and an Ecosystem for the Future P.2 - @SBF_Alameda
2/ In the last past, I have shared my thoughts of why @ProjectSerum choose such a challenging route which is the central limit order book model (CLOB) instead of pursuing, for example, an AMM model?
3/ Instead of short-term gain, Serum’s ultimate vision is to build an infrastructure that can support the mass adoption which contains billion of users and $10 trillion of on-chain value.
4/The CLOB model if worked can bring far more value than today’s users could imagine.
-No fear of slippage
-Condensed liquidity >> more accurate pricing and more efficient markets.
-Build cutting-edge products with DeFi’s composability, the only limit is your imagination.
5/ Despite the eco is still in an immature state and has many things to improve, but with a strong & supportive community, the innovative ideas behind the ecosystem and an increasing number of builders, Serum Dex is growing with an incredible speed
6/ A scattering of ideas for Serum and what a composable on-chain CLOB can bring in the future:
-Borrow/lending protocol for capital efficiency and leveraged trading in a single click.
-ETF’s in the shape of on-chain pools
-And many more like options, bonds,...
7/It’s not about the sophistication of these instruments. Rather @ProjectSerum hopes to lightly illustrate one path by which developers can build, on-chain, the underlying financial instruments driving at least half of the world’s financial activity.
8/ And in the end, it all bottoms-out to the on-chain Dex and orderbook.
11/ @mangomarkets
Mango harnesses the power of Solana as well as Serum’s CLOB. Mango Markets is currently in public beta offering up to 5x leverage margin trading on BTC and ETH with more token pairs arriving soon.
12/@PsyOptions
Mature options infrastructure is severely lacking in DeFi and PsyOptions aims to fill that void.
13/@RaydiumProtocol
Raydium is an on-chain orderbook AMM built on Solana and leveraging Serum DEX’s central limit order book for fast trades, shared liquidity, and features for earning yield.
15/@SolriseFinance
Solrise allows users to create and enter decentralized funds with under $20, reducing the barrier-to-entry to nearly 0 and is entirely non-custodial
16/ @PythNetwork
Pyth Network is an oracle network “being built by some of the biggest names in traditional finance and DeFi” to provide the infrastructure for DeFi to support reliable, institutional-grade market data oracles.
17/ @Media_FDN
Media Network is a privacy-first and community-governed content delivery network (CDN) that bypasses traditional CDN providers’ centralized approach for a self-governed and open source solution where everyone can participate.
19/ And this is just the beginning of Serum’s journey. Serum remains committed to its ambitious undertaking of building and fostering an ecosystem for everyone.
Let the world know about Serum.

It only about a month but so many things have happened in the ecosystem, so today I will update about money flow in @solana eco and what I think will happen next.
3/ After layer 1, money will likely flow to KEY LEGOS of @solana so I told you to invest in KEY LEGOS in Money flow part 1 and with the performance of $RAY, $FIDA, $SRM,... recently I think it was the right thing to do.
1/ @ProjectSerum and the vision to flourish the ecosystem no.1
The thread explains the idea behind Serum, how Serum will flourish and an illustrative case about Raydium.

2/ First, let talk about Serum DEX.
Serum DEX is a permissionless and trustless decentralized exchange with an on-chain central limit order book model (CLOB).
3/ Why order book?
It’s clear that AMM model still dominates DEXes nowadays but why Serum still choose to walk in this challenging route?
