With news of the existential threat to 🇬🇧 farming from this disastrous Australian FTA, I am being pulled to step up to focus on @BritishSave
I urge people to get behind our campaign by visiting using our template system: email MPs, sign up, get involved. Savebritishfarming.org
We have the fight of our lives ahead to save our 🇬🇧 values which are rooted in our beautiful countryside, high animal welfare standards and our world beating 🇬🇧 food.
The 🇦🇺 FTA will trigger a domino of similar trade deals which will savage Britain🇬🇧 by handing away control to global producers to dump low standard food on the British public.
We know that 94% of British people are against lower food and animal welfare standards. This government made a manifesto promise to uphold our standards and now they are intent on throwing us all down the river.
We have to fight to save our British values. If this trade deal happens, then our beautiful countryside and safe British food will be gone forever.

“Dom would often go dark. For long periods and in critical moments he was simply absent from the building and unreachable. Most basic decisions, which bc of his all-pervading authority needed his sign off piled up in his in box
most of which went unanswered. Most decision-making simply became a matter of guessing what Dom would do — an odd way of forcing everyone to be brainwashed into the mind of Dom. He was entirely uninterested in 99 percent of issues or crises, leaving the No. 10 staff leaderless.”
“Dom was constantly running a parallel briefing operation above Lee’s head, speaking daily to journalists himself, while both slagged off the same reporters — the biggest names in the lobby — in meetings.
