There's a lot of nonsense surrounding testosterone, your life force.
Because it's not in society's best interests for you to be high T.
But it IS in yours.
So let's dispel some of the garbage you may have heard, starting with...👇
#1. Testosterone Decline Only Affects You If You're Over Age 30
Not true.
Men's testosterone levels across ALL ages, have declined by about 30% since the 1980s. Then on top of this, you've probably experienced a 1% annual decline since age 30 if you're older.
A double-whammy.
#2. Testosterone Makes You Angry/Violent
Testosterone tends to make you more confident.
But anger/violence? These are usually due to lack of emotional control, which is linked more closely to estrogen dominance, not testosterone.
#3. You Shouldn't Worry About Plastics
You should.
Plastics have been shown to have a significant impact on many men's bloodwork. The BPAs essentially become estrogen when they enter your body, seriously damaging your T levels over the long-run, as they're difficult to excrete.
4. Cholesterol Kills Testosterone Production
False.
As you already know, cholesterol has been demonised plenty over the years, when in fact, underlying inflammation is the real culprit.
Cholesterol is actually one of the "building blocks" of testosterone, along with omega 3s.
5. The "Hustle Lifestyle" Is Good For You
Working 12 hours a day & sleeping 5, both lead to one thing in the VAST majority of people.
Chronic Stress.
Acute stress makes you stronger, but chronic stress slowly kills you, and it murders your testosterone in the process.
#6. TRT Gives You Prostate Cancer
It doesn't.
But blasting steroids for years and years MIGHT. Your body doesn't have a problem with testosterone replacement levels, it has a problem with you blasting 5-10x the amount you were ever supposed to have.
TRT is not steroids.
#7. NoFap Won't Make A Difference
Oh, trust me it will.
There's a lot of guys on social media right now, who are completely addicted to porn, or masturbate far too often.
Nothing will tank your life force and your energy faster.
#8. Declining Testosterone Is Okay, Because It's Normal
You know what else is now officially "normal"?
Obesity.
But does that make it okay?
Does that make it a desirable life condition that improves your life in any way whatsoever?
Nope.
#9. Testosterone Is "Bad For The Heart"
This is another myth that's really come from steroid abusers.
The real threat as far as your heart is concerned, is low T.
Far more dangerous.
The ideal range that I often talk about, is 800-1200 total testosterone.
This range will:
- Optimise your organs
- Optimise your mindset
- Optimise your results in the gym
I have an entire ebook dedicated towards this goal:
And it just looks awesome (as long as it's not freaky, which isn't what I'm talking about).
1. Lose Body Fat
Honestly, this is going to be the #1 factor for most people.
Once the body has (this is different for everyone, but let's say 20% bf) or more, it's going to be next to impossible to have real bicep veins, veins in your shoulders or chest etc.
Your main focus in your 40s and beyond, is the very thing that's fighting you every day:
HORMONES.
If you can get your hormones right, you can:
- Gain more muscle
- Lose body fat easily
- Live longer
- Look more youthful
Let's get into it:
1. Eating 3+ Meals Per Day
Eating too many meals per day not only makes it harder to burn body fat, but it also keeps your insulin from really getting where it needs to be for long-term health.
It also limits the growth hormone secretion you can benefit from.
For your testosterone levels, muscle growth/maintenance, and appetite suppression.
It's a fundamental building block, yet so many men don't hit the 7 hour minimum.
Here's 22 tips that will help you to change that, and get into the 7-9 hour range...
1. Make It A Priority
What gets measured, gets improved. This applies to sleep too.
2. Don't Go To Bed With Your Phone
This is the #1 mistake. The modern world is absolutely designed to keep you awake, and to keep your attention on anything but sleep. News/IG/Netflix etc.
