When there is nothing to do, the body defaults to feeling tired.

When challenges are presented, the body defaults to feeling energized.

If you always feel tired, it's not always because you're doing too much.

It may be because you're not doing enough.
A mind with nothing to do dwells

A body with nothing to do feels sleepy...

What is good work and what is poor work?

There's a difference between the 2
Working for the sake of working is better than doing nothing at all

But it's suboptimal and can have you feeling burnt
Smart work is purposeful work

And smart work is a lot like driving
This sort of movement has an end goal.

Just like when we drive, we drive to get somewhere

This schedule we have built is allowing us to get somewhere
'Why does the body feel tired when it doesn't have much to do?'

Because the mind dwells

And dwelling requires a ton of energy
There are 2 types of dwelling

-Passive
-Active
Passive dwelling happens when you just let your mind run naturally

As Eckhart Tolle said, 'a mind left unchecked produces monstrosity.'
Active dwelling is scrolling on any digital media

'This is a form of dwelling too?'

It most certainly is

And you can argue this one is more dangerous
Active form of dwelling can lead to:

-falling victim to highlight reel
-destroying focus muscle
-playing into the hands of social media engineers
Working with purpose comes down to glorifying goals and systems.

Silly people make the 2 compete
A system only exists because it is moving you towards a goal

A goal is a system manifested

Both are joined at the hip
A goal without a system leads to excessive stressful work

A system without a goal leads to working in circles
After combining the two, a schedule becomes filled

But it becomes filled with purposeful work
Fantasy: Feel energy, then work

Reality: Work, then feel energy
Purposeful work has you progressing forward on your path

And tames the monstrosity of the mind
Now the thought waves generated in the mind help you move forward

The mind is an assistant

Rather than the nuisance that keeps chirping away
Increase energy levels by moving

But not any kind of moving.

Instead, the moving with a clear direction at the end

But overtime?

You have altered beliefs.

Be very alert.

All content is not good content. A lot are sinister.
Good content makes good people great

Bad content makes good people resent the great

In school, memorization is rewarded.

In the real world, understanding is.
Understanding leads to memorization of the right things

Memorization does not always lead to an understanding of the right things.
Let's talk a bit about the difference between school education and real world education

Just because the 2 phrases have 'education' does not mean they are being used the same way

Mentality HACK:

View boring tasks as 'focus sharpeners'

-doing the dishes
-folding laundry
-cleaning your room

Exercising your focus in one area of your life spills over to other parts

While everyone is doing these tasks with negativity, you're doing it to level up your mind
With the right lens, anything becomes an opportunity to build focus

The ability to stay in the present
Boring tasks are a great candidate because of the pattern

'Pattern with what?'

Pattern with the gym...

The secret to creativity is a lack of planning.
That's not to say discipline is lacking.

'But a lacking of planning means a lack of discipline, no?'

Not quite..

Maintain discipline

Be unpredictable with content
Structured chaos is the name of the game.

Creativity can be an excuse to live a life of a slob

But that's misguided thinking
