1. You can Become Hypothetically wealthy in ANY line of work
Assessing jobs solely by salary is limiting. If you want to become wealthy, you start a business/company and create a SYSTEM.
Consequently, ANY field can be "good" line of work if you are seriously interested in it and can systemise it at an eventual point in the future
2. Practically every single job the past 20 years has been changed by the adoption of the internet, by email, by social media, by algorithms
Expecting any job to a be prescriptive set path that you simply show up for and then "success" happens is delusional
The internet revolutionized business on all levels and if you are not adaptable in constantly learning new skills and updating your abilities, you will be left behind
3. You NEED to Have Social Skills
Both Online and Off-line. The ability to write, the ability to speak clearly and conversate, the ability to present yourself in an attractive manner in your social profiles AND in person and be charming, all a necessity
Treating the internet like a throway time sink for trolling and being a fool, that era is dead
Reputations are made online and offline and you need to be sharp in both, because you will be assessed by both
4. Whats a Good Job? This is not a good question. As was said prior, any line of work could hypothetically lead to becoming wealthy
Rather you need to ask yourself
What am I talented at? What actually pays well? What is useful and in demand currently?
What do I enjoy doing? What will I actually take seriously?
The "best' job is in the intersection of those 5 questions
5. If you dont know what to do
Then do ANYTHING
The adage of "any job is better than no job" is 100% true
Drop the passion mythology bullshit and apply yourself to something with real work ethic. Thinking a "passion" will appear is magical thinking and does nothing for ambition
6. Passion is a Romantic Story
You might be very fortunate to discover a profession that you LOVE to do and would do for any amount of money.
If thats you, wonderful. If nots you, stop wasting time and WORK
Not everyone is ultra passionate about their job. Most people are not
The dirty truth is that if someone is generally competent at something and they get PAID well enough, they'll be "passionate"
Everyone is motivated when they are making money
7. If you have Lots of Options for Work
Choose whatever will push the most and promises the most growth
And if you still cannot figure it out at all, flip a coin, because at that point it does not matter, all choices are equal

-I wrote this when I was 23, (Im 32 now). Its good advice
1. Waking up stupid early
If you want anything in life to happen, you have to make something move, and that means getting that started as soon as possible...
If you want to maximize your quantitative experience, then start your day early. If you want waste time, then wake up whenever you like
But don’t be surprised when you get beaten by someone who put in more time than you did—because it will happen.
2. Working way later than you should.
Rarely do people fail because they devote too much time to something
Aside from actively working to create opportunity, there will also always be instances where someone has the good fortune to simply be the person that showed up first...
