Struggling To Stick To A Healthy Lifestyle?

6 Reasons why workaholics ≠ high performers.

// THREAD //
1. You say there's no time.

Let's be honest here: there is always time.

You still watch TV, you still jump on social, etc.

What you need is a framework that creates good habits.

Once you have a blueprint, making time gets easy.
2. You think your health isn't that bad.

After all, Bob is 50 lbs. heavier than you.

And Rose only sleeps 4 hours a night.

So you assume you're doing 'ok'.

Don't tolerate mediocrity.

You're creating greatness, not averageness.
3. You want to do more research first.

Stop it.

Tell yourself that this mechanism is just procrastination covered up.

Understand it's the fear of the unknown.

Step into the fear.

You won't be able to research your way to a healthier life.
4. You claim you're too busy to cook

a) Learn how to cook easy, nutrient-dense meals.
b) Or get a meal prep company to deliver your food.

Pro tip:

Stick to eating similar meals every day.

Optionality causes stress and indecision. (you won't last)

Add variety as you level up.
5. You say you've got bad genes.

And you know what? You could be right.

While that is sub-optimal, it's NEVER an excuse.

You can still have a nutritional framework that works, given the reality.

Sticking to healthy habits consistently will set you up to succeed regardless!
6. You're waiting for the right time.

Something is ALWAYS going to try and seduce you into not prioritizing your health.

The deadline, the $$, the partner, the weather...

Just because you think about health, doesn't mean you will get it.

You have to take action. Today.
Get rid of the excuses you keep 'hiding' behind.

A lot of them are probably even legit.

But you've got two options at this point:

1. Keep feeling bad and let your ego dominate you.
2. Fight off the ego and take action to get healthy.

15 simple tips to get healthy the right way.

Lessons I learned while losing 53 pounds.

// THREAD //
1. You start by un-learning everything.

Forget what the government, schools, news, and even your friends and family want you to believe.

Either they're making a profit off you or they simply don't know what they're talking about.

Do your own research.
2. You accept that there will be obstacles.

This allows you to prep for those bad days.

Just make sure you know WHY you're doing this.

If you mess up, tap back into your 'why' and get back on track right away.

Feeling unfulfilled?

5 signs your life needs to change.

// THREAD //
1. You Make Just About Enough At Your Job

You feel chained in your easy, low-stress comfort zone and ignore what your heart is telling you.

That inner friction is eating at your soul.

You choose to ignore it though.

Because, well, next month you'll get that paycheck!

Right?
2. You Pick Up One Bad Habit After Another

You know you should drop them.

Somehow, you never manage to.

Stack the Netflix onto the Disney+.

Stack the mindless shopping for shit you don't need onto your gaming addiction.
