I wonder whether, when @cydneyyeates of @Metro_Ents began her career in journalism, she really believed she would end up resorting to writing complete fabrications.
Firstly, the 2nd and 3rd paragraph have just been copied and pasted from any government press release on vaccines. It gives a glimpse into the lack of actual “journalism” happening here. As a former journo myself, I can tell you that “word herder” is a far better description.
But of course the main lie here is the attempt to completely switch realities and discredit the only person in that discussion (@beverleyturner) who was actually speaking the truth. Not my truth, the unarguable, demonstrable truth.
I’m sick of the mainstream media lying so👇🏻
These are the claims Cydney portrays as lies.
Claim number 1: “the jab doesn’t stop people catching or passing on (transmitting) the virus.”
Claim number 2: “it’s a trial drug.”
Claim number 3: “we are still in clinical trials.”
Claim number 4: “we have no long-term data.”
Addressing claim number 1:
it is a scientific fact that being vaccinated doesn’t stop transmission.
In this US survey, 100% of 20 healthcare workers contracted covid after receiving both doses. Conversely, 67% of 5,174 non-vaccinated did. telegraph.co.uk/global-health/…
That is just one study from many confirming the vaccines don’t halt transmission (exactly what Beverley claimed). @radioleary responded “it does” & @Matthew_Wright said “I think you are being massively irresponsible”. As I’ve just proven, the liars were the 2 blokes in the room.
Addressing claim number 2:
The Pfizer website states the vaccine has only been authorised for use under emergency legislation (0 covid deaths, is that an emergency?) & “have not been approved or licensed”. Anything unapproved or unlicensed is clearly a trial medication.
And until the vaccines are officially approved and licensed, calling them trial drugs is exactly what they are. More truth from Beverley, spun as lies by Cydney.
Addressing claim number 3:
This one is easy. As the below shows, the phase 3 clinical trials end in 2023. It’s fact.
Addressing claim number 4:
The purpose of 46,663 people taking part in the stage 3 clinical trial ending in 2023 is to establish long term safety trends. We currently have 6 months worth. Once again, Beverley is correct to say we don’t have long term-data. We don’t.
Cydney also claims there have been 122 complaints about the debate. She offers no evidence to substantiate this claim. She says 55 were against Beverley, 27 against Dermot/Matthew & 13 about Alison. That equals 95. There is a missing 27 not mentioned? Why not?
Whether it’s the gov soundbites, the attempt to portray demonstrable facts as lies, or the misrepresentation of data, this sorry article is an embarrassment to journalism. It’s not journalism, instead state propaganda. I’m sure deep down Cydney is utterly ashamed.
For those claiming Saturday was some kind of “hijacking” by “controlled opposition” I suggest you watch this 20 min on camera debrief by one of the main organisers.
I want to address some of the points I’ve read in the hours since.
Claim 1: “It was hijacked,” one v well known account said.
This is a demonstrable lie. An event poster before the march clearly states that: “from now on our marches will be taking things up a notch & sending a message. We will no longer be scenically walking through Ldn.”
“But instead going on slightly longer routes through community areas to spread the message of awareness.”
So this was very much planned, whether you agree with it or not. For anyone who walked the route, you will have seen dozens of people watching and filming from...
