I went from 3K followers to 14.3K by hiring a growth agency on Instagram

After I stopped paying, I dropped down to 13.9K

I bleed followers every time I posted

Got discouraged, so I quit

30 days ago, I began posting times/day

"Magically" I grew...

How?

Let me try to explain

Seems quantity + consistency are the keys

Notice I'm not talking about quality yet.

All I'm doing is posting screenshots of my tweets, which are greatly written, but it's only a screenshot.

I'm not getting them designed for Instagram.

I'm just posting.

At this very moment, my IG audience is being served the following:

It's frustrating to post and not get quick results, but... it's worse not posting at all

So I'll stick to screenshots for a long time

Once I get a hang of what to post on IG, I'll transition to more 'IG-friendly' posts: better design, more carousels, and entertaining fleets.

"What about stories?"

I post around 5-10 stories a day.

I record myself talking for a minute... that's 4 stories right there (stories are 15 second long)

I also share other ppl's posts and my own.

"What about hashtags?"

I asked myself, how can I avoid spending time on hashtag research?

The answers?

Theft.

I just stole @PathToManliness's and @LifeMathMoney's hashtags (I believe I told them both – I think... if not... thank you for your hard work 😂)

What you just read is not advice.

Ignore most of what I have to say about IG growth.

These tweets are an attempt to clarify my thinking.

I'm sharing my crappy first thoughts on Twitter because I want you to see how I struggle with things that are outside of my expertise

Here are some options:

• SEO
• Copywriting
• Email Marketing
• Content creation

These are high-demand, high-profit skills.

Web Design - To design sales funnels.

SEO - For driving organic visitors to websites.

Copywriting - To persuade with the written word.

Email Marketing - Increase income with automation.

Step 1: Learn A Skill

I studied graphic design at college.

I soon realized companies in the Dominican Republic didn't pay designers well.

So learned web design.

Started with HTML and CSS

Then PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress.

Step 2: Get Your First Clients

My first client was my godmother.

My second client was my girlfriend's church friends.

(We're now married – seems I did a good job)

Never underestimate reaching out to your friends and acquaintances.

How did a full-time English Literature student scale her content creation business to 6-figure?

I met Shreya in October 2020.

She's a 21-year-old girl from India. She reached out to me on Instagram to offer me her content creation service.

Back then, I was looking for someone to design posts for my Instagram page, so I agreed to the meeting.
