Next, we have #ErinOToole, who, along with all other #Conservative MP’s, except Michael Chong, voted against @iamIqraKhalid’s 2017 #Motion103 condemning #Islamophobia. Now he’s attending a vigil knowing Trudeau is away on state business? Quite a change in tune🤔. #PRscam #cdnpoli

But the cherry on this bullshit sundae, is the queen of hypocrisy & self-interest herself, @MichelleRempel. Rempel voted against M-103 too. What did she tweet the day news broke of the Afzaal family’s murder? She tweeted #Jan6th insurrectionist & Islamophobe, Elise Stefanik. #CPC

But then #BlockedByRempel seized the opportunity, not to put out a statement on Twitter where she’s blocked half of #cdnpoli, but to direct traffic to her website to read her insincere statement released today. Jeez. Must have been a helluva meeting with Topham Guerin PR coaches

More on the attempted hoodwinking by the #CPC. For years #Conservatives have used code like “Islamic terrorist” to inflame anti-Muslim hate. From Michael Cooper reading Christchurch mass murder’s manifesto into the record in Parliament, to Candice Bergen’s dog whistles. #cdnpoli

#CPC hides its deliberate stoking of hate & the othering of Muslims by invoking terms like “Islamist Terrorism”. Then they gaslight about their routine use of the politics of hate in order to hoodwink the voting public…always trying to have it both ways. #cdnpoli #CPCHypicrites

When @iamIqraKhalid put forward #Motion103 condemning #Islamophobia & systemic racism, it could’ve passed with little fanfare. Instead, #CPC used it to fundraise off fanning flames of hate. Social media was awash in far right & fake accounts pushing #CPC’s disinformation campaign

In other words, #CPC is part of the politics of hate that helped lead to the murder of an innocent family. A 20 year old was radicalized, not in a vacuum, but in the ecosystem of right wing disinformation & propaganda & parties like CPC/GOP fundraising off of hate, fear, division
