2) It now being June of 2021, I've been active here at Twitter for just over 4 years. During these years I've made several serious technology learning commitments in real part driven by the art of being a thread writer. I still have a long way to go!
3) I have missed one of the most fundamental requirements yet, which I'm changing, and will soon master. Let me use two terms to express it. The most basic is Organization. Alongside it though is something I call Documentation Power. I'll explain the second term first.
4) If you would understand power, you can do no better than to track the rise and transfer of the British Empire. Agincourt is a perfect place to begin. It was the Fire Power of the British Yeoman Archer that won Agincourt. The British Bow of War won that battle. But how?
5) You've probably seen a cloud of arrows that darken the sky in movies. What most don't show, though, is the need to do it again. That is, how many such clouds of arrows can you deliver? The technical term is Rate of Fire. How long till the next shot?
6) As the weapon of power transformed from the British Longbow to muskets and then rifles and cannon, Rate of Fair remained Britain's great mastery. They learned to do the same at sea, and it was British Warships with their fearsome cannonades that built the British Empire.
7) Picture it. Two great warships sail alongside and commence cannon fire. One warship is able to reload and fire again at twice the speed of the other. Imagine a full broadside, say, once per minute for one ship, and once every two minutes for the other. Which will win?
8) The story of how America inherited and took over the force of fire power is beyond our scope today. But to the degree we have stepped in as Britain stepped out, it was our fire power that empowered our rise. In all cases, land, sea, and air power comes from fire power.
9) That is the context within which to understand Documentation Power. In the world of MAGA, my wife @KateScopelliti and I wrote a book worthy of your consideration.
@KateScopelliti 10) In our book, we document the core principles of the MAGA Movement. We believe those principles are both historic and in fact, timeless. They are as significant today, under the Biden Presidential Theft as they were won Donald Trump first organized them.
11) Organized? The term to understand here is Rally Power. No one is American history has rallied his support like Donald Trump. He set the art at a higher level than anyone else could have imagined or dreamed. And in doing so, he organized his message. Contemplate that.
12) In our book, Kate and I describe his 2016 process. He tested and perfected every single part of his message, but more, he also tested and perfected its flow, one point to the next. To see this, this rally's video will still stir your soul, I promise.
13) It was that rally that @KateScopelliti and I analyzed as the basis of our book. It is not quite possible for me to convey the significance of Trump's organization of his message. He found the sequenced order of ideas that awakened America Herself.
14) Think of it as that magic formula necessary to break an evil spell. Perhaps Sleeping Beauty is the best fairy tale to apply. A poisoned apple was employed. Our beautiful heroine is drugged into an evil magic coma. There is a formula to break the spell. This kiss of true love.
15) Here you see the exact act of evil spell breaking power. America First. Don't think of organization as a boring, mundane act. Think of it as the very force of the soul necessary to empower good over evil. That is what you see in this extraordinary image.
16) Can I pledge allegiance to our Virginia flag and the Commonwealth for which it stands? Can I ask our Republican nominee, Glenn Youngkin - #WinWithGlenn - to place Virginia First among the States of America? What part may Virginia play in Making America Great Again?
16) Until this very moment, the thought of purchasing and proudly displaying a State Flag has never crossed my mind. Here are my states in the order I lived there:
1) Illinois 2) California 3) Massachusetts 4) Maryland 5) Virginia
17) The very thought of being patriotic to my state and the flag that represents it is a brand new thought this morning. I'm not making the commitment right now, quite yet. For that, I'm going to have to complete the analysis. #MAGAanalysisVA.
18) Since the Civil War, in which our great Commonwealth of Virginia was the capital seat of the Confederacy, the principle of States in relationship to our great Union has been settled in favor of the Union. Yet, does State Patriotism still exist?
19) One of the purposes of the #MAGAanlysisVA Mission will be to answer that question. Can Virginia Patriotism fit into American Patriotism? Can we, by placing Virginia First join the entire MAGA Movement in making America First? You can sense my leaning. Of course it can!
20) The problem is that's what I want. I also wanted to #DefeatMcAuliffeNow and we utterly failed to do so. The hopefully familiar term here is Confirmation Bias. We think things will be the way we want them to be and interpret all data by that leaning.
21) And that's why I - and I passionately propose WE - must return to our reading and self-development mission. I've decided to test out #MAGAanalysisRL as the organizing hashtag, RL standing for Reading List.
22) Going over the list again right now with my own Commonwealth of Virginia in mind, I wonder if there doesn't need to be a separate subset of the Reading List targeted toward each of our 50 states. Probably so. If so, I can sadly assure you, I'm not ready to offer it.
23) We have some pretty good used bookstores here in Charlottesville. I will hit them all in the new search for Virginia's state history. I've been online, the options are few and so expensive that I'd have to peruse them in hand before I'd drop the cash. Irritating.
24) Here's just one example. It's probably so boring a book I won't be able to finish it, and at $30 for a used copy, well, I'm not likely to buy it online, that's for sure. And no Kindle version. So irritating!
25) Who remembers how, at FOX News (which I don't watch anymore) Breaking News Changes Everything? I always loved that line. Well, this analysis was interrupted by a phone call from General Flynn. I promised him that I'd do an analysis tomorrow focusing again on Veterans.
26) In fact, General Flynn also encouraged me to follow his Telegram Channel here, which I just did!
27) I'm not quite sure how to get you the link, yet, but I was able just now to also join General Flynn's Discussion Group, called "@RealGenFlynn Chat". I think if you simply follow his channel and click on "comments," it should take you right there. Exciting!
28) An incredible point General Flynn pounded home to me just now was this. As Trump has rightly guided us, we cannot start over with a new 3rd Party now. We must stick with the Republican Party...BUT...we must TAKE IT OVER FROM THE GROUND UP!
29) We also discussed my recommended reading list, but while you'll hear more about that tomorrow, his most furious passion was about our great Veterans. We reviewed the significance of their vote in 2016, without it, there would have been no President Trump.
30) But the most important thing he mandated is that we return to the mission of both supporting our Veterans and turning to them for leadership again. To that end I promised him that tomorrow's #MAGAanalysis will focus on that mission. You won't want to miss that, I promise you!
Thread ends at #30.
As General Flynn has mandated, we must take over and rebuild the Republican Party from the ground up, locally. Join us at Telegram and share your commitment. We'll help you, and ask for your help too!
If there's one man in America who knows and speaks for our great veterans, it is @RealFenFlynn. You won't find him here at Twitter. But you will at Telegram, here:
2) Yesterday, General Flynn and I had a far reaching conversation. He guided me in three areas:
1) America's Veteran Community 2) The Grassroots Takeover of the Republican Party 3) Matthew Trewhella's great book, The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate
3) Before we dive in, let's talk about Telegram vs Twitter for a moment. Many of my friends have shared that they find Telegram a bit difficult at first. I understand this and want to encourage you to work through the initial stage and embrace it. I'll explain.
2) Before tackling the lessons of the failure, I feel the need to review past work as context. I'll skip over Election 2020, and the mid-terms of 2018 as each their own special cases. But two races in 2016 are directly pertinent. Yesterday's primary makes the 3rd in that line.
3) The first campaign I volunteered to serve was Wisconsin District 1's 2016 Republican primary. I worked on behalf of Paul Nehlen, who lost to Paul Ryan. Truth is, I supported Nehlen in order to stop Ryan and we failed terribly. Interestingly, Ryan took 60% of the vote.
Dupers And Their Dupes, The Democrat Party’s Evil Smirk
Can a single facial expression express a person's entire life? If they're a sociopath, the answer is yes. It is a smirk. An evil, tiny grin. It is the joy of control.
2) The smirk is easy to find. You can see it on Biden's face in his Ukraine video with the 6 hours. You can see it on Hillary's face with her basket of deplorables. You can see it on Obama's face in his second debate with Romney, when Candy Crowley joins him against Mitt.
3) You can see it on McCain's face when he gives his thumbs down against the repeal and replacement of Obamacare. You can see it on John Kerry's face, on John Edward's face and perhaps most of all on Al Gore's and Bill Clinton's faces. In all cases, the smirk of control.
"There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."
2) If you needed any evidence that Trump has read and mastered Alinsky, look no further. Trump ridicules our enemies. This is so potent that they have to silence him, utterly. In his silencing, they ridicule themselves.
3) Bullies. Thugs. Miscreants. Big Brother. Censors. They parody themselves by their actions and decisions. If Trump had been honestly defeated, they would have no need to silence him, or to purge us, his supporters, his followers.
We have homework to get done. First, we need to walk through Alinsky's 13 Rules. Second, we need to apply them to our current mission. Mastering Alinsky's Rules is a repetitive endeavor.
2) "1) Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."
Alinsky skips a step here. Let's correct that...
Power begins by knowing that you have it.
3) It has been the mission of public education and the media to ensure we, We The People, forget our actual power. We cannot live up to Alinsky's 1st Rule if we fail to know our own power. If we ever learn our power, we can defeat the left with its Alinsky compliance.
25) In coming weeks and months we defeat Critical Race Theory as a basis of education. We ensure that our Constitution and it rights are taught to our children in school. America's history of freedom. Virginia's history of freedom. Our destiny as a free people is taught.
26) More important that WHAT is taught, itself, is THAT we, we Virginians, we take CHARGE over what our children are taught. The very same groups that #DefeatMcAuliffeNow are the very souls that win Virginia back for America.
27) You cannot FORM such groups without a vision of America won back, won again. You cannot survive the STORMING stage where many will oppose the true mission. You cannot NORM a group's endeavors unless built upon shared values of patriotism.
