People often wonder whether the market for teaching (or advice, or commentary, or...) is saturated, and it is remarkably underserved, both along the axis of which topics are covered and on ways-of-seeing-the-world they’re presented in.
A great deal of my work over my career, and a great deal of my impact, has been exporting ideas well understood in some parts of the economy to technologists while wrapping them in something that says Don’t Worry; This Is For You.
Speaking of the unforgeable cultural bearer capital: I got complimented on being obviously a salaryman by the platonic example of a salaryman the other day and that put a spring in my step.

(It was less the clothes and more phrasing of approximately two sentences over the course of an hour long conversation. One rounded to “We will take the liberty of considering that carefully.”, which the contra correctly interpreted as “No, but I don’t fault you for trying.”)
(I’ll acknowledge that part of being a salaryman is that you’re so obviously a salaryman that no one least of all another salaryman needs to remark on you being a salaryman, but the nature of the compliment was explicitly a “Oh I was wrong despite being a foreigner you are...”)
(That is of course not how the comment was phrased in the original, but that was what was meant.)
