BREAKING: #SputnikV will soon offer a booster shot, adjusted to work against the Delta variant of coronavirus, first detected in India, to other vaccine manufacturers. Below are the highlights of Sputnik V’s pioneering role in developing vaccine cocktails.
Sputnik V was the 1st #COVID vaccine cocktail in the world when created by the Gamaleya Center in April 2020. It uses heterogeneous boosting with 2 shots by 2 different adenoviral vectors Ad5 & Ad26 as we explained in this op-ed published nearly a year ago

Moreover, the vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Center against the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in 2019, even before the novel coronavirus outbreak, was also a vaccine cocktail.

Sputnik V was the 1st vaccine maker to offer joint clinical trial of a vaccine cocktail on Nov 23, 2020. This offer was accepted. Soon after other developers started exploring this approach. We ask the media to acknowledge our leading role.
We’ve always said that vaccine cocktails are the way of the future. We offer all vaccine makers to use our shot in cocktails against #COVID mutations. As early as November 2020 we talked about advantages of heterogeneous boosting on Twitter.
On January 13, 2021 we said the following.

On February 26, 2021 we even shared an “Open your eyes” song for other vaccine manufacturers to help them realize advantages of heterogeneous boosting.
Over the last year we have been tirelessly talking about heterogeneous boosting and vaccine cocktails. #SputnikV was 1st vaccine maker to understand the future of this approach and it has to be acknowledged.

The causes of such major discrepancies in the number of death cases among different vaccines should be the focus of honest scientific and public discussion.
Death rates are below average in population due to selection criteria for vaccinations. Regulators didn't find connection between vaccinations & deaths. Instead of being silent on death number discrepancies among vaccines, the media should be covering facts and avoiding biases. Image

RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev held a productive meeting with the Vice Prime Minister of Slovakia Igor Matovič. RDIF remains committed to assisting the people of Slovakia with vaccination by Sputnik V.
Unfortunately, in violation of existing contract and in an act of sabotage the State Institute of Drug Control ensured that Sputnik V tested in a laboratory which is not part of the EU’s Official Medicines Control Laboratory network even though OMCL laboratories were available.
SIDC has launched a disinformation campaign against #SputnikV and plans additional provocations. Statement by SIDC that the batch of Sputnik V delivered to Slovakia does not have the same characteristics as the vaccine described in The Lancet is fake news.

Clarification from #Sputnik V team on 2 fake news today:
1) Report of a special investigation into #SputnikV clinical trials published in FT today is incorrect. Sputnik V team is going through a regular rolling review of EMA, in which good clinical practice (GCP) is a part of the standard procedure for all vaccines.
Sputnik V specifically invited EMA to conduct a rolling review and is showing full transparency. 59 countries already confirmed Sputnik V compliance with GCP and we expect EMA to do so as well.
