3..reluctant to relinquish US exceptionalism when discussing #Syria security apparatus that exists to protect the country against endless military, intelligence, political interventions that threaten Syrian territorial integrity, secular society, self determination of people.
4.The West is rapidly descending into totalitarian, police state territory, yet that is largely ignored by same journalists who point the finger at #Syria, targeted by their regimes for decades. Syria operates under its own constitution, Syria defends itself against imperialism..
5. ..yet very little effort appears to be applied to truly understanding how imperialism affects countries in crosshairs without applying the same #CIA "standards" that have been responsible for Syria's destruction.
