Leaders need to stand up

What is going on is sexist bullying of women.
This will be your organisations' undoing.

Yes if you stand up the bullies will come for you.

You are the @royalacademy, you are voluntary sector leaders, you are university Vice Chancellors
You are paid millions. You are respected. You have OBEs.

Your orgs are systematically beating down on women w little power.

Freelancers, artists, early career, returners to work, single mothers, women in refuges. Those who cannot afford to speak up or most easily disposable.
Yes the bullies are in your organisations.

They are running your D&I function. They are in your affinity groups. You are paying them to lobby you.

Yes they will denounce you

Yes it is scary but you need to stand up.
Or simper like @fawcettsociety, say its toxic, congratulate yourself for your understandable cowardice.

Yes it is embarrassing that you didn't stand up for JK Rowling, for me, for Julie Bindel, for any number of women ...

Nevermind. You see it now. Stand up. Say something

The funders promoting the fashionable idea that "male" and "female" no longer matter are now playing the word game on the difference between rich and poor countries.

Hewlett rebadge its "global development & population" programme as "gender & governance".

Why not "women"? because we want to "enable people of all gender identities to lead lives of dignity and fulfillment" Image
Sure - and all religions, political, ethnic and other identities...

But why would any of these identities be interchangeable with something that is intended to address the particular challenges faced by women?

Dear @ayeshahazarika
I have not attacked you.
I do not engage in mindless cruelty
I do not get off on misgendering trans women, calling them men in dresses or making pathetic, vile comments
Here are some of the things I have written about sex and gender

Here is the article which contributed to me losing my job

Here is a piece I wrote for @FiLiA_charity about how to reconcile the human rights of women and of transgender people

Just sending my judgment to @UKScouting .

I have been in complaints and counter-complaints process with them since Gregor Murray in June 2019 accused me of "abuse" for two tweets, calling me an "anti-trans bigot" and Transgender Trend a "hate group" which they took up
In the Scout Association's latest response (before the judgment) they said that the fact that I defended myself by saying that I would, where appropriate call a man a man, meant that I might not be suitable as a scout leader.
This is my defence of myself to the Scout Association that the employment tribunal (now overturned) said made me "absolutist" and "not worthy of respect".

The same defence was judged by Scouts to make me suspect as a Leader

(they both avoided quoting paragraph 32)

I wonder who has been spinning my judgment? 🤨

Dozens of media outlets carry the same statement that "High Court Judge" Mr Justice Choudhury said my views "may well be profoundly offensive and even distressing"

.... but he doesn't say that in the judgment at all.
The closest thing he says is this, on page 55.
This is what he says about my beliefs on page 1

Hmm. I don't know how the govt will or can regulate legal Crowdfunders (since you can crowd fund for anything on generic sites, or set up your own).

And this is one of those illiberal moves not-to-applaud just because it is getting at someone you don't like
The ability of the public to bring JRs is important.

And there are permissions hearings and cost orders to deter the vexatious and frivolous.
I do think @CrowdJustice has been unwise to flex its own self-regulation for the Good Law Project.

Normally the rules require the "case owner" is the claimant and their lawyers sign off on the case page. But for GLP these constraints and quality control are removed.
