Hello #PlantTwitter!
Do you like houseplants? Succulents? Does keeping tiny plants help you fight the helpless pandemic feelings?
Then have I got news for you! As of now, my Etsy shop is offering 20 varieties of small plants! 🪴
etsy.com/shop/MascMasks…
I'll give some detail about each plant in this thread!
First up, we have classic Golden Pothos!
Pothos are fantastic for inexperienced plant owners, as they are durable, adaptable and beautiful! The Golden Variant has stripes of gold throughout its leaves.
etsy.com/listing/102497…
Pothos are fantastic because they can tolerate almost any lighting conditions, meaning they can be placed almost anywhere with at least some natural light. They work wonderfully in baskets, as well as being great plants to brighten up offices or bedrooms (or both)!
Next, Jelly Bean Succulents! These whimsical little succulents are great windowsill plants, as they love sun but only need watered around once a month, and will get beautiful color variation in good lighting!
etsy.com/listing/102891…
Miniature Pine Tree Succulents are just as advertised... looking like tiny trees! I've seen them used creatively in models or even an adorable desk ornament. This plant is great for windowsills, where it will grow relatively quickly (for a succulent)!
etsy.com/listing/102891…
Next we've got the Dragon Fruit Cactus, which, despite its appearance, is actually soft to the touch! The spines are flexible and will not hurt, making this a great cactus for those with sensitive skin.
etsy.com/listing/102583…
Here is the Bronze Graptosedum, so named for its gorgeous deep pink color it will get under proper lighting conditions. This succulent can get so bright it functions like a perennial flower!
etsy.com/listing/102582…
The Silver Coral succulent grows out from a central point, and covers its fragile leaves with a silvery, shimmery coating that seems almost otherworldly.
etsy.com/listing/102582…
A personal favorite of mine is the Cobweb Cactus! This cactus is also soft to the touch (although the "cobwebs" are fragile, so be careful) and completely nontoxic, making it a good option for households with pets or small children.
etsy.com/listing/102581…
The Blue Chalkstick Succulent is aptly named... in low light, the leaves appear almost blue, with a silvery sheen that is truly beautiful. This succulent has a pigment that is almost impossible to pin down, and changes throughout the day.
etsy.com/listing/103977…
The Silver Inch Plant is a classic for houseplant lovers everywhere! This plant propagates easily from cuttings, and is very colorful - its leaves are striped with a sparkly silver, and their undersides are a deep purple. It's great for hanging baskets! etsy.com/listing/102580…
The Dog-Tailed Cactus is a unique cactus, that is suitable for hanging baskets and will grow long "tails" outwards from the center of the plant. The spines are flexible and soft, making this a good cactus option for those with children or sensitive skin.
etsy.com/listing/102544…
The Gold Lace Cactus is sharp, but worth the effort! It grows beautiful white lattices over its surface, and will quickly produce "pups", baby cacti that bud off of the mother plant and are able to be grown as new cacti!
etsy.com/listing/100011…
I've only got a few left, but String of Pearls is a classic succulent for advanced houseplant keepers!
etsy.com/listing/101484…
Easter Cactuses are named for their beautiful flowers that grow each spring. They come in many color variations, but mine is orange! I've only got a few left, so move quickly if you're interested!
etsy.com/listing/102495…
String of Bananas are a great succulent option for mid-level succulent keepers! They grow beautiful strings down from hanging baskets or planters, and form a "curtain" of small oblong leaves.
etsy.com/listing/101484…
Dragon's tongue is a strange and beautiful little plant, with thin narrow leaves that are dark green on top and a deep purple underneath. This plant is very dynamic, perking up noticably every time it is watered, making it feel very alive!
etsy.com/listing/101494…
Watchchain Succulents are great beginner succulents! They grow in tiny towers in clumps, giving them a very fun and unique appearance.
etsy.com/listing/102881…
For our last four plants, I've got four variants of the good old Crassula ovata, or Jade Plants. These plants are low maintenance, drought resistant, and excellent for beginner plant keepers!
Here is the classic Jade Friendship Plant.
etsy.com/listing/103976…
I also have a curly variation of the classic Jade Plant! This plant is also great for beginners and is very hardy!
etsy.com/listing/103978…
Jade Plant variations range far and wide, including some more "exotic" looking varieties, like this Hobbit's Finger Jade. Like all jade, this plant is excellent for beginners.
etsy.com/listing/101099…
And finally we have Alien Toes Jade, which is the most bizarre looking of all. I personally love the strangeness of this plant most of all. Like all jade plants, this plant is great for beginners.
etsy.com/listing/103977…
These are all the plants I've got currently! If you're looking for a specific plant, please let me know HERE and I'll see if I can find it for you. Plant care instructions are listed in the "item details" of each listing. Feel free to comment here with any questions! Thank you!
Oh no! How could I forget the Raven ZZ plants! These plants are a classic houseplant, however in a fully black (and suitably goth) variation! These plants prefer shade lighting and so work great for offices or bedrooms, and are low maintenance.

I am so tired of being asked to help cis people cope with my existence.
I’m busy coping with my existence, and more importantly, I’m busy coping with the active vitriol cis people have towards my existence.
How dare you ask me to help you cope with me deigning to exist.
I don’t exist for you. I don’t exist for anyone but myself. And I am so tired of being treated as public property simply because I make cis people uncomfortable.

As someone with a relatively large platform, I’d like to take today to make a thread of black trans people in need. If you’re a black trans person, add your need post below. I’ll also add ones I find.

“But what if someone misuses this accommodation” is not an excuse to deny it to everyone
The fact that this needs to be pointed out is ABSURD
So I’m seeing a lot of replies that are basically “set up a system of accountability and we’ll be fine” and frankly? Nah.
I would literally ALWAYS rather more people get accommodations and “cheat” than anyone be denied accommodations they need.
