My deep study of the Disability mess of Army Jawans led me to study the whole system from 'womb to tomb'. Surprisingly it came out and fitted so correctly in the Management Principle propounded by me. Retired Generals and Lt Generals cannot impact or influence the system.
The worrying part is what use are these ranks when they have no impact on the system, which everyone proclaims to be existing? This is the effect of 'Relevantly-Irrelevant'. Entire system is investing their time, effort and energy into keeping the current practice alive.
There is little or no corruption. There is that deep desire to keep the system alive since it feeds thousands with white money. Where is the 'RAW MATERIAL'? or rather WHO is the raw material? Its the DISABLED. Will the system feed thousands if this raw material finishes?
The 'Relevantly-Irrelevant' Principle suggests that numerous processes, policies and rulings should be in vogue simultaneously. This ensures that any head on the organisation does not have power to single handedly change the system. Powers in Army, by hierarchy, culminate at AHQ
The Relevantly-Irrelevant' Principle ensures that no General or Lt General is able to influence the system by giving say to different organisations for the same issue. E.g. Disability Pension is handled by Army, IFA, DGAFMS, Armed Forces Tribunal and Courts. Each has own policies
Ever wondered why veterans scream MoD MoD MoD MoD and convert it to villains? These very veterans are silent after I asked them the exact procedure of the entire medical disability. There is silence. The System, hence remains hidden from eyes of common man. Interested?

Will make an exception. I will use your tweet to make a point. 1. You seem to be a senior veteran made out by ‘Tam Marte Quam Minerva’, your handle that means’as much by war as by wisdom’ the motto of Pakistan Staff College, Quetta. 2. Are you person of Pakistani origin?
3. Of Indian and a veteran who is an ESM and held a high rank in service, which is very probable, then why hide identity? 4. Forces Widows issue seems to have hit you hard because you have no idea of widows of your own unit. 5. You again have no idea of inequality in pension.
6. You have absolutely no idea since you never were concerned. You are pained since when this issue comes on social media, you look silly. 7. Did you follow the poll on Pensions of Forces Widows? Obviously you did. That’s why the pain. 7. Did you read one Retired ......
1. Sir, you combine all or you let them remain separate, question is does military have its ‘mind’ for such big concepts? 1. Three Strike Corps have consumed lacs of crores since raising and the Light Tanks are Eureka moment now. 2. Two front war was alien term till last June.
2. With numerous Armoured Corps Chiefs and Army Commanders, the Infantry glitterati in Northern and Eastern Command, Retired and on social media, did anyone ever suggest abrogation of 370? Ways to end Insurgency? Military’s macro and micro understanding is extremely limited.
3. ‘Vision’ needs to be backed by conviction. If you have vision and conviction, you will certainly not have a rank. Army is always about getting next promotion. When complete energy is focused on getting rank, where does vision and conviction go? Military is about ....
1. #RelevantlyIrrellevant Relevantly Irrelevant is the result of the organisations ever changing manipulative policies to pull up the preferred while making them generic. Irrelevant people occupy relevant positions reaffirming manipulative policies. This has long term effects.
2. #RelevantlyIrrellevant While the base has complete pool of people representing different ages, the merit among them is different. The ‘irrelevant’ who are pulled up the chain in promotions 24X7 devise ways to model policies to create rules that only the preferred group clears.
3. #RelevantlyIrrellevant The basic aim being to completely block the people outside the preferred group. Merit has no place. A non-meritorious and non-performing but ‘preferred’ person gets through while leaving the highly meritorious behind. Soon the bulk is blocked.
1/n Discussing British traditions is an insult to Indian Army. Is there any requirement of a lanyard? I have tweeted extensively in indigenisation of Indian Army. We went wrong in 1947. How could we continue with an army that had NO ROLE in getting independence?
2. Was there any SIKH, MARATHA, MAHAR, PUNJAB, GARHWAL, KUMAON etc. regiment before 1859? Only troops in East India Company came from Avadh. When the country reign passed to Queen, the reorg saw recruitment from different areas. These were on caste basis. Why did we continue?
3. How much pride do you take in the fact that HODSONS HORSE, a Cavalry unit arrested Bahadur Shah Zafar from Red Fort in 1858? This unit prided itself right till the year I got commission in 1982. The name was dropped thereafter. Indians killed Indians wearing different lanyard.
1. Sir, My assessment is 100% flawless. I have been writing extensively on documentation. From recruiting rallies to retirement / death in service, the concertina effect of documentation is seen in Records Office at the time of retirement / release when the OR pays heavily.
2. What can records do when the persons release date is fixed and the OR reports to them. Everyone is aware of frantic running around by individuals. OR is alone, no one to help. Records are helpless, they act only if they have papers. Records have no control over authenticity.
3. Records have no say. No weight. They are treated as scum by units. OIC Records is like a paperweight. No other utility. They are either in cahoots with Centre Commandant or hands-in-glove dishing favours. They need to keep Centre and Col Commandant happy. ORs can go to hell.
