Lots of issues with that alleged photo/video of Dong Jingwei put out by CCP's MSP today.

According to the Tajak statement, there was no rep from China. That doesn't necessarily mean that a rep didn't attend via video link, but no mention of Dong. indianexpress.com/article/india/… Image
The official Shanghai Cooperation website has an overview of the event - which isn't available on the English portion of the website - says Zhao Keji attended from China. No mention of Dong here either. rus.sectsco.org/news/20210623/… Image

An article referenced says that the Chinese delegation (and no other country had five people at the table) attended by video link but also says the Ambassador to Tajikstan attended in person. Which, again, contradicts other countries' reporting. 3g.163.com/dy/article/GD7…
The alleged video also has problems, as Jennifer Zeng noted. I know there are more issues with it that I saw today in my TL but can't get to it all right now and will update.
Oh yeah. The screen China shows of the other participants on video link is not accurate at all- see the pic from the actual conference. And they have the name of the Tajik official wrong. That's what happens when you don't attend. The #BonVivants should be ashamed. ImageImageImage

Also on 6/14 GMA ran a preview of that day's "Nightline" episode-ABC *finally* wants to find the origin of the COVID-19 virus. While there was some attempt to seem fair-handed, the Nightline segment is getting out talking points of the Langley apologists. abc.com/shows/nightlin…

🧵Today LA County Judge Yolanda Orozco ordered Katie Hill to pay approx $84,000 in atty fees I incurred when she frivolously sued me for truthfully reporting abt her unethical sexual relationship w/an employee and illegal drug use.
Unfortunately, my legal fees were about $35,000
...more than Judge Orozco awarded me – b/c my entire career at stake, I retained the best attys I could find. I'm now on the hook for that balance, and Hill will be playing the victim again.
Despite Hill's claims, the publication of the photos included in my story and in the Daily Mail’s story weren’t “revenge porn” but were matters of public concern and covered by #1A, as Orozco ruled when dismissing Hill’s case. Many legal scholars on both sides of the aisle agree

Torn between just staying home with my dog and going to a friend's birthday party and laying by the pool with an adult beverage. Only reason I'm torn is b/c it involves people. People that I like, but just not in a small talk mood. 1st time I'll have seen them since F died.
I'm out the door. Might not stay long but at least I'm going.

Some facts abt what's happening in #EchoPark.🧵

1. The city has a $500M reno project scheduled for the PUBLIC SPACE.
2. ⬆️This is not a random "eviction."
3. In 1/2020 StreetWatch LA+DSA blocked a cleanup of the crime-ridden encampment, emboldening them

4. For the past 3 days homeless service providers have been at Echo Park Lake offering services thru Project Roomkey/Homekey.
5. Many of the residents have rejected services.
6. Mitch O'Farrell's ofc has already placed 100 ppl who were living at lake into safe housing/shelter
7. More than 4,000 Echo Park residents (not the homeless) signed a petition asking O'Farrell to find housing for all homeless ppl at #EchoParkLake and for the city to clean up the park so all can enjoy it
8. Violent crime, sexual assault, and drug OD's/dealing are rampant
