3) According to the book, Trump also was furious at Azar and CDC for doing testing. Testing! Trump thought not doing testing would allow him a victory.

4) The US did almost no testing or tracing for the first few months, except for people from China or citizens returning from cruise ship in Japan. So many people died needlessly. So many utterly died for nothing.
