I think there should be serious discussion in the US for a male president who out of fear of COVID will send HIS WIFE INSTEAD OF HIMSELF and that makes it OK. What does it say about the country? Is it OK because it is diplomatically OK, even during a global pandemic?

⚠️BREAKING #CoronavirusUpdate#Tokyo2020 A member of the 🇺🇬Ugandan national team tests positive for #COVID19 after showing unclear results in the preliminary antigen test when they arrived to Narita. The rest of the members are already en route to their Olympic Village.
According to @asahi , @UgandaOlympics team member tested positive after inconclusive antigen test results. All 9 members were fully vaccinated with #AstraZeneca vaccine and took two PCR tests within 96 hours of departure. They all carried negative proof. asahi.com/articles/ASP6N…
The team arrived in Narita with around 80 passengers onboard a Qatar Airlines flight at around 6PM on Saturday. After taking a preliminary antigen test, one of the members’s results were inconclusive and then tested positive in the 3rd PCR. Measures taken after that is unknown.
