Let's Just be absolutely fair: @RealProgressUS have been involved in organizing the @M4M4ALL along w/ many other activists & Organizations.
Bad people have tried to cancel & denigrate us becuz they don't understand our opposition to state based efforts. We are for NATIONAL #M4A

We have committed no less than 20 direct activists in volunteer support to both helping them and our own media coverage. We have also interviewed the lead organizer and have endeavored tirelessly to explain our position with experts in both law and economics.

People who are opportunists have tried the straddle a fence that is un-straddle-able.

The currency issuer/currency user dynamic is of vital importance under EVERY SINGLE Program Progressives want to pass.

Why would people slag us as libertarian or billionaire lovers?

Our activism and very real objections have been cast as "splitters" or even worse, by some knuckledraggers as akin to the anti-force the vote sentiment the establishment advanced.

Others have tried to shush us. Shame us
Claim we hate people's kids. Want people to die. Claim we are privileged. Lies lies lies. Just like the David Brock correct the record trolls and the exact same tactics.

For years, as we have been the vanguard pushing the #MMT framing for the Bernie campaign and on, many didn't understand so they lied and called us libertarians and billionaire lovers. Wickedness has surrounded this since Bernie's first run for the Democratic nomination.

Our position is quite clear.

The Federal Government is the money monopolist, price setter and currency issuer.

The states are just like household budgets. They are revenue constrained.

The Federal Government can absorb any and all cost overruns no matter what is happening.

Pensions are going broke or being privatized. Schools are being underfunded. Roads and bridges are collapsing. States were starved during the pandemic and we desperately need to end unfunded federal mandates.

Imposing a tax to fund these programs at the state level also presents the problem of migration to the state and further burdening a currency user. This isn't tough to get. It is shameful to attack us for fighting to present this s vital information.

We all are needed to fight for NATIONAL #M4A and 4 maybe 5 states could handle even a badly underfunded state plan, the others would be left out in the cold that is Medicare for Some. Not all.

I will not forsake this knowledge or our mission just because folks do not understand. We will continue to explain. We will continue to point this out to all. We are all beneficiaries or losers depending on how any of this goes. The arrogance of trying to shut us up is appalling.

We actually have SPECIFIC knowledge, not just great emotional stories for #M4A

The question of "How are you going to pay for it?" has haunted the left for half a century and must be crushed forever.

Otherwise NO #GREENNEWDEAL
NO #StudentDebt cancelation
And really, no #MedicareForAll

@RealProgressUS and @RP_In_Action have skin in the #MedicareForAll effort and we will not allow ANYONE an inch of smearing us without a direct and sustained defense. We are allies even if the smear campaign against us goes unchecked by many participants in the @M4M4ALL effort.
