desperately struggling to understand why so many people are making a point of referring to near by the legal name they only revealed at the beginning of their suicide note. how does that seem like an appropriate thing to do

also i'm under the impression they were going by they/them, but they torched enough of their twitter presence that i have nothing to substantiate that

i swear to god if i release a lifetime of stuff as eevee and then i die and people start commenting "Ah, Evelyn, her work meant so much to me" i will fucking haunt them

i mean ok i did pick that name for myself so it's not like i'm avoiding it in the slightest, but what an incredibly weird thing to do. like the name someone used to sign all their work was fake. come on
