Can COVID-19 Cause Diabetes? Research points to another "troubling" effect of COVID-19: new cases of diabetes.

SARS-COV-2 is NOT like other viruses. It causes severe inflammation throughout the body, wreaking havoc on respiratory system, heart, brain, and kidneys

1/
The studies, both NIH-supported pre-proof studies available in the journal Cell Metabolism, confirm "that:

☆SARS-CoV-2 can target and impair the body's insulin-producing cells." This, as a result, can lead to diabetes.
2/
How does the virus cause diabetes?
lab studies found that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was capable of not only infecting human beta cells, but was also able to replicate inside of them, allowing it to invade other cells, too.

3/
What are beta cells?
beta cells are responsible for secreting insulin-and in type 1 diabetes, it's those beta cells that don't secrete enough insulin for the body to use.

That's not all!
4/
both NIH-funded studies found and confirmed INFECTION of pancreatic beta cells in Autopsy samples from people who died from COVID-19.

One of the studies suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may "preferentially infect" those insulin-producing cells.
5/
That's not all!

The new research also found that coronavirus infections could change clusters of cells known as islets in the pancreas, which contain the beta cells.

6/
Specifically, both teams of researchers found that the pancreatic islet tissue showed reduced production and release of insulin following a coronavirus infection-and sometimes, infection also led to the death of some beta cells.
7/
So, having COVID is much more

People need to think more in terms of the long-term potential health consequences of getting infected.

If you get diabetes, that will affect you for the rest of your life.

Misinformation about mRNA vaccines!
1.vaccine would “permanently alter your DNA! FALSE

2.spike protein produced by the vaccine would “bind to your DNA and irreversibly change it! FALSE

neither the mRNA nor the spike protein come into contact with our DNA or alter it in any way
3.vaccines will produce more viruses or promote cancer! FALSE

The mRNA introduced through the vaccine survives just long enough to allow the cells to produce spike protein for generating an immune response, aftershock the mRNA will be DESTROYED
2/
4.Vaccinated people shed the spike protein, which could then cause an infection in unvaccinated people nearby. FALSE

It is not possible for the spike protein to cause an infection, that would require a fully-assembled, functional virus.

#vaccineswork

Q: How long we have been working on mRNA vaccines?

A: Efforts to create an mRNA vaccine have been ongoing since 1993, when scientists tested mRNA for influenza in mice.
1/
Q: How do vaccines work, in general?

A: Vaccines work by mimicking an infection and training the immune system to recognize SARS-Cov-2 virus.

This training allows the body to respond more rapidly when it encounters the virus in the future.

2/
Q: How do vaccines mimic an infection & train the immune system to recognize the virus?

A: This is usually done by introducing a weakened or inactivated version of the pathogen or parts from it, such as proteins, into the body.

Covid-19 mRNA Vaccines Are Not ‘Gene Therapy.

What is gene therapy? A technique that “may allow genes to treat or prevent disease.

In the future, this technique may allow docs to treat a disorder by inserting a gene into a patient's cells instead of using drugs.
1/
Who invented this method?

French Anderson was “dubbed 'the father of gene therapy' after a team he led in 1990 cured a hereditary disease of the immune system in a 4-year-old girl.”
2/
For doctors to be able to use gene therapy to treat a disease in a patient, the whole genome of the patient needs to be sequenced!

This method cannot be used for 8Billion people😂

1. Several experts found problematic data in the published phase 1/2 results of Sputnik.

2. Lancet made multiple independent requests for access to the raw dataset, but these were never answered.

3. The concern pertains to the trial protocol.

The Sputnik V investigators mention that three interim analyses were added to the study on Nov 5, 2020,1 but this change was not recorded on ClinicalTrials.gov.

The full study protocol has not been made available.
4. Besides these protocol amendments, the definition of the primary outcome is unclear in the Article.

We lack some crucial information, such as the clinical parameters determining suspected COVID-19, diagnostic protocols were used, when the PCR testing was done&...

There are some health screening every woman should do EVERY YEAR!

☆ Blood analysis
☆ Pap smear
☆Breast ultrasound/ Mamigram

Let's break it down.
1/
1. Sceening your blood pressure
☆Starting at age 20: Once every 2 years
☆Adults ages 40 or older: Atleast once per annum
2/
2. Cholesterol Check (Your total cholesterol levels should be <200 mg/dl

Adults 20yr: Once every 5 years.

Adults > 30yr: if your cholesterol is between 200 and 239 mg/dl, make a plan with your doctor for how often you should check it.

Who should NOT get Pfizer or Johnson vaccine?

According to CDC: If you are allergic to

☆polyethylene glycol (PEG), you should NOT get either of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna or Pfizer).

☆polysorbate, you should not get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

1/
If you are allergic to other types of vaccines, for example, the flu shot, you should consult your doctor before scheduling a COVID-19 vaccine.
