That’s the opposite of “big government,” as they target the tumors on the competitive market instead of punishing everyone with industry-wide regulations.
Monopolists like regulations, which are entry barriers for competitors.
Corporations have amassed way too much power & control over our lives.
This is particularly true of the woke trillion-dollar #BigTech monopolists (in this order of danger):
(@Twitter is their obnoxious, bar-fighting liddle tech bro.)
Through a terrible combination of Section 230 immunity from 1996 & #AntitrustAmnesty starting under President @BarackObama, we now have government-created and -sponsored censors of free speech on our own online public squares.
The government must breakup these #BigTech monsters.
So @RepKenBuck, my favorite House conservative & the top R on the House Antitrust Subcommittee, worked for nearly 2 years to investigate and draft 6 pieces of bipartisan legislation to breakup #BigTech.
They passed the House Judiciary Committee last week.
Rs should get onboard.
If House Republicans have specific issues, work with @RepKenBuck’s office on an amendment.
But this nonsense from @GOPLeader and @Jim_Jordan about “Democrat bills” and “big government” is just their way of duping conservatives and carrying the water for their #BigTech donors.

Under the guise of "rooting out racism and bigotry," "[e]very component of the government has a role to play in . . . advancing equity for all Americans."
@POTUS@JoeBiden is ordering the entire federal government to weaponize Marxist-based "equity" (racial discrimination)?
"[T]he two most lethal elements of today’s domestic terrorism threat are (1) racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists who advocate for the superiority of the white race and (2) anti-government or anti-authority violent extremists, such as militia violent extremists."
Today’s overwhelming bipartisan vote in her favor is a testament to the sea change in opinion on the right for antitrust modernization and enforcement.
Big Tech brought this on themselves with their abusive, censorial and anticompetitive behavior.
The era of unchecked Big Tech monopoly power is over.
