The @FBI is already (over-)investigating 1/6 — and prosecutors are already (over-)charging.

The 1/6 committee — comprised of partisan Democrats and Trump-deranged Republicans — is simply a way to bludgeon Trump supporters.

fbi.gov/wanted/capitol…
There are 3 categories of protesters, including those who:

1. Follow the rules, even if you think their positions are wrong or even crazy = protected.

2. Trespass = charged.

3. Are violent = treated most severely.

And we can’t have different rules, based upon political views.

Last July, an off-duty soldier was driving for a ride-share.

He came upon a #BLM street mob.

He tried to drive through, but the mob surrounded his car.

A masked man with AK-47 forced him to roll down window—and raised his gun at him.

He shot him in self-defense.

No charges.
In November, @JosePGarza — a highly partisan leftwing activist — won the race to become Travis County (Austin), Texas District Attorney.

And he just indicted the soldier for murder.

There’s no chance a jury will find this soldier guilty of murder.

But that didn’t stop Garza. ImageImageImage

Good.

A free market requires a functioning market.

When monopolists use their market power to harm competition, we no longer have a functioning — and thus, free — market.

Our antitrust laws have been on the books for a century.

We don’t support antitrust amnesty.
Our antitrust laws are targeted law enforcement.

That’s the opposite of “big government,” as they target the tumors on the competitive market instead of punishing everyone with industry-wide regulations.

Monopolists like regulations, which are entry barriers for competitors.
Corporations have amassed way too much power & control over our lives.

This is particularly true of the woke trillion-dollar #BigTech monopolists (in this order of danger):

1 @Google
2. @amazon
3. @Facebook
4. @Apple

(@Twitter is their obnoxious, bar-fighting liddle tech bro.)

In less than a week, Attorney General Merrick Garland has weaponized:

(1) @CivilRights to intimidate Arizona officials during their *audit* of the election;

(2) @FBI to hunt down (mystery) “white supremacists” & other “political extremists” (aka Trump voters).

Dangerous Stuff.
I had utmost respect for Garland before today.

He’s a dangerous partisan hack.

@LeaderMcConnell & @ChuckGrassley (my former boss) clearly made the right call by blocking him to the Supreme Court.

Justice Gorsuch (another former boss) cares about our liberties; Garland doesn’t.

Under the federal government's own definition of "domestic terrorism," #BLM & #antifa radicals have terrorized American cities for a year.

And they've caused billions in damage--and many deaths.

So who is @POTUS @JoeBiden targeting?

Not #BLM & #antifa.

whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/…
Under the guise of "rooting out racism and bigotry," "[e]very component of the government has a role to play in . . . advancing equity for all Americans."

@POTUS @JoeBiden is ordering the entire federal government to weaponize Marxist-based "equity" (racial discrimination)?
"[T]he two most lethal elements of today’s domestic terrorism threat are (1) racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists who advocate for the superiority of the white race and (2) anti-government or anti-authority violent extremists, such as militia violent extremists."

We congratulate antitrust expert @linamkhan on her historic, bipartisan confirmation to the @FTC.

@The_IAP was an early endorser of Ms. Khan’s.

We were proud to play a leading role in rallying Republican support for her nomination.
Today’s overwhelming bipartisan vote in her favor is a testament to the sea change in opinion on the right for antitrust modernization and enforcement.
Big Tech brought this on themselves with their abusive, censorial and anticompetitive behavior.

The era of unchecked Big Tech monopoly power is over.
