Today marks the 154th Anniversary of the Canadian Confederation when the colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada joined together to form the Dominion of Canada.

The land we live on & have the rare privilege to call home was originally inhabited by the Indigenous Peoples long before Canada became Canada

As we mark this yearโ€™s anniversary, it is important to note that the privilege of living in Canada comes with profound responsibilities.
First among many, is to acknowledge and reflect on the injustice and harm that Indigenous Peoples have been subjected to and continue to be subjected to in Canada.
The second is to lend our voices to and commit ourselves to actionable plans that would positively impact the lives and families of Indigenous Peoples and every Canadian around us.

We may not be able to change the past, but we must learn from it.
Every First of July presents the opportunity to learn from the past, challenge ourselves to do better in the future, rededicate our efforts to address the inequality around us, and approach the task of achieving genuine reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples with renewed vigor.
The best way to love our country is to demand better of itโ€ฆ.and truly do better!

And I am full of optimism and hope that as the proud Canadians that we are, we will collectively achieve this!

God Bless Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Iโ€™ll provide the guidance, resources & some financial support (for those in need) to make their dreams come true

This is the soap I promised to cut for you

However, I am interested in working with those who are ready to do their own part as much as I am ready to do mine.

The dream is free, but the hustle is sold differently.

I want this to yield outstanding results and be a spring board for something bigger.
And for this first cohort, I am particularly interested in supporting those applying for a graduate level program (Masters/PhDs).

A few days ago I asked you to do 2 things:

1) To show your interest and answer a question on what you want to study in Canada and at what level?

If you're writing IELTS to come to Canada as a permanent resident, you will do the General Training test

Try to also work towards CLB 9 & above (in IELTS this is at least Listening - 8, others 7)

CLB means Canadian Language Benchmark, and that's what your IELTS is converted to.
