UPDATE

This year, I plan to closely support 20 of my followers who are applying to study in Canada

I’ll provide the guidance, resources & some financial support (for those in need) to make their dreams come true

This is the soap I promised to cut for you

Thread
#OluProject20
However, I am interested in working with those who are ready to do their own part as much as I am ready to do mine.

The dream is free, but the hustle is sold differently.

I want this to yield outstanding results and be a spring board for something bigger.
And for this first cohort, I am particularly interested in supporting those applying for a graduate level program (Masters/PhDs).

A few days ago I asked you to do 2 things:

1) To show your interest and answer a question on what you want to study in Canada and at what level?
2) To read some posts (in the original tweet) related to studying in Canada there and familiarize yourself with a few things.
To begin your study in Canada process, 6 questions need answers.

1. What do you want to study & at what level?
2. Which Canadian Uni offers the program?
3. What are the admission requirements?
4. Are you eligible?
5. When/How will you apply?
6 What are your funding options?
If you’ve done the two things I mentioned above, you should already have the answers to questions 2 - 6 now.

Some of the posts that should guide you to these answers are:

- How to find schools and apply to study in Canada olufemiloye.ca/how-to-find-sc…
- 15 Canadian universities with lots of scholarships olufemiloye.ca/15-canadian-un…
- How to find scholarships in Canada olufemiloye.ca/how-to-find-sc…
- Free CV Templates from Canadian Universities.
olufemiloye.ca/free-cv-templa…
If you’re still interested and good to go, reply to this post with your answers to questions 1 & 2.

- What do you want to study in Canada and at what level?
- Which Canadian University offers the program, and is your choice to attend?
You can list more than one university.
(i.e Masters Degree in Sociology, University of Saskatchewan, and University of Windsor).

The people who are helping me with the selection are already in the comment section…. And I am excited about what is on the way!
A final post on this #OluProject20 is coming in the next few days.

Anticipate!

Today marks the 154th Anniversary of the Canadian Confederation when the colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada joined together to form the Dominion of Canada.

The land we live on & have the rare privilege to call home was originally inhabited by the Indigenous Peoples long before Canada became Canada

As we mark this year’s anniversary, it is important to note that the privilege of living in Canada comes with profound responsibilities.
First among many, is to acknowledge and reflect on the injustice and harm that Indigenous Peoples have been subjected to and continue to be subjected to in Canada.

If you're writing IELTS to come to Canada as a permanent resident, you will do the General Training test

Try to also work towards CLB 9 & above (in IELTS this is at least Listening - 8, others 7)

CLB means Canadian Language Benchmark, and that's what your IELTS is converted to.
