Wajahat Habibullah shared same school as Rajiv. He wrote a book - My Years With Rajiv Gandhi: Triumph and Tragedy’ - in which he reproduced his conversation with Rajiv about unlocking of Sri RamJanmbhumi at Ayodhya Image
On 1 February 1986, Faizabad District Judge KM Pandey ordered the Babri Masjid be unlocked. Within half an hour of the order being passed, the padlock on the main gate was broken.
So if anyone deserves credit for opening of Ramjanmbhumi, it has to be Judge KM Pandey and then CM of UP Vir Bahadur Singh and certainly not Rajiv Gandhi
Actually both the stories of glorification of Rajiv and PVNR follow same pattern- both stories are based on conjectures and both are stories of inaction. Their perceived inaction is given more credit than their actions, which all point to their negative role!

The story by @MailOnline about the arrest of two men for saying cow urine does NOT cure Covid is actually a hit job - fact is that both of them were arrested following a FIR and arrested under section 153-A/505(b)(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Image
Manipur BJP president Prof. Saikhom Tikendra Singh died on late on 13th May due to Covid. Following his death, both of them posted derogatory comments.
BJP GS P Premananda Meetei & BJP VP Usham Deban filed complaint against both of them & both were arrested ImageImage

Yesterday in a clubhouse room about the state of journalism, I mentioned this increasing trend of a section of Indian media/ commentators and journalists linking #JaiShriRam to violent events. It is nothing but a sinister game to create a parallel between JaiShriRam & Ola-o-Uber!
We all men and women who grew up during 80s and 90s associate #JaiShriRam with Hindu resurgence in political spectrum. Yes it became a rallying point for everyone who wanted to undo the historical wrongs inflicted on us for centuries.
Name of Prabhu ShriRam became a rallying point for Hindu unity & resurgence & #JaiShriRam became synonymous with Hindu ethos.

When state police of @yadavakhilesh ‘s dad sprayed bullets on the chest of unarmed RamBhakts, their only weapon before embracing death was #JaiShriRam

Congress time politics of handing out doles gave us bureaucrats, who were so used to getting plum posts that “neither tired, nor retired” used to be the motto of their lives. So they were called NTNRB’s - neither tired nor retired babus. And this list used to be endless!
Came 2014 & common Indians powered another commoner and a rank Lutyen outsider to the top seat of Delhi —-> PM @narendramodi. The babus on the verge of retirement and the NTNRBs were so accustomed to dealing with Cong that an unknown customer was too hot to handle!
But then PM @narendramodi - a firm believer in the integrity of institutions - much to the liking of this strange breed known as bureaucrats,continued to function with congress era bureaucrats. He knew what he was doing but smart asses of Indian babudom saw in him a pliable one!

This tweet by @madhukishwar reminds me of this poem “ The Karma of Immunity “ by Gopi Warrier, talking abt positives of Ayurveda. Everyone attacking Ayurveda following arguments with @yogrishiramdev shud see this. You can’t take on science of life!
So many Docs, in say Britain, think that Lancet is God but so many doctors outside India feel Indian docs are the best in the world and most Indian docs respect Ayurveda. Actually it will be good if firms like @DaburIndia @ZanduCare etc work with docs to help fight propaganda!
Companies like @ZanduCare @baidyanathgroup @DaburIndia @Ach_Balkrishna that they shud liaise with @aiims_nd and @MoHFW_INDIA to end this anti Ayurveda propaganda forever. Quoting again a poem from Gopi Warrier that I love... titled “The Karma of Immunity”
