Geared-up police forcing entry with all their toys. Armed Siege ? No. Drugs Bust ? No. Terror Cell ? Weapons Factory ? No.
It's a Collective Art Studio run by a Charity and police are busting in to remove a perfectly legal but "satirical and subversive" abstract sculpture on the roof connected with Extinction Rebellion.
Here's the video. See how many go in. I count 41.
For a sculpture.
Yup - The Tories are authorising police to tear down sculptures.
Workshop ransacked, three arrested then released with no charge.
This is the artwork. Designed by a collective who submitted it for the annual Ante Pavilion Architectural Competition, installed on the roof as part of that competition.
In the end, the police were unable to remove it due to the technical nature of its construction.
When the owner of docks came to complain about the raid on our premises, he was dragged off his motorcycle and arrested, charged with "attempted assault" and "dangerous driving".
@Damien_Meade@antepavilion Regarding the owner / biker arrested for 'dangerous driving', many would spot that the bike moved forward about 6 inches.
And then he 'pointed' at a copper.
That apparently is 'attempted assault'.
@Damien_Meade@antepavilion None of those arrested were remotely connected to Extinction rebellion. All the people arrested were employees or tenants of Hoxton Docks.

1/-.
@jdpoc it was Kjaer who cleared Erickson’s airways, ensuring his tongue was not blocking his breathing, and placed him in the recovery position.
2/-.
@jdpoc It was also Kjaer who called for paramedics as well as team physios, instantly recognising the seriousness of the problem.
if you’re thinking of installing some OCR software on your iOS or Android, don’t. I’ve just been playing around with Google Lens, which is built into Google Photos.
So if you have a Gmail address, you already have it.
@jdpoc … And Google Photos with Lens seems to outperform a lot of specialised OCR applications.
Text at an angle with reflections? No problem.
@jdpoc Some text is straight and the rest is curved? No problem.
