This morning, I am pleased to announce, that following a series of calls with Pfizer Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla, last night we closed a deal to bring forward the next shipment of vaccines, to 1 August.
Together with existing stocks, this ensures – from this moment – a continuous inventory of vaccines in the State of Israel.
I would like to emphasize: There are vaccines for everyone!
We also have first doses in stock, and the second dose will arrive, as noted at the beginning of August. Therefore, whoever has not been vaccinated, mainly young people but older people as well, go out today and get vaccinated! Go out today and get vaccinated.
At today's Cabinet meeting, we will approve the evaluation of a vaccines plant in Israel, in order to produce for ourselves locally made vaccines, without being dependent on others, in the context of both the coronavirus and future pandemics.
Regarding Lebanon, Lebanon is on the verge of collapse, like all countries that Iran takes over, and this time, the citizens of Lebanon are paying the price. It must be understood that the citizens of Lebanon are paying a heavy price because of the Iranian takeover of the country
