It’s clear that Christopher Darden and Ludlow Creary’s defense of Ed Buck involves weaponizing his victim’s HIV status. Darden and Ludlow are fixated on AIDS and making sure the jury has a negative connotation when they hear it.
The only relevance HIV has in this trial is the fact that Ed Buck is HIV positive and according to his victims, specifically asked them of their status and knew that they were positive when he did what he did to them. But the defense doesn’t want to talk about that.
Ed Buck’s next-door neighbor was asked on cross by Christopher Darden whether or not the people he said he saw in a stupor leaving Ed Buck’s apartment could not have been under the influence of drugs, but just had AIDS.
Every HIV and AIDS advocacy organization in America needs to be issuing statements condemning Darden and Ludlow for weaponizing HIV and AIDS in this trial.
And don’t think for one moment the irony is lost on me that Ed Buck’s attorneys, Christopher Darden and Ludlow Creary, are weaponizing HIV and AIDS for the benefit of their white HIV positive client against his Black gay victims.
Jurors were shown photos of dog collars used for training dogs that emit an electrostatic shock.
Det. Martindale was asked if he found a dog while searching Ed Buck’s apartment.
He did not.
Ed Buck picked the men he did for a reason.
These men went through hell literally just to be off the street for a night.

The LA County Democratic Party has passed a resolution calling on Sheriff Alex Villanueva to resign. I'm glad we were able to get it done this time around. #VillanuevaMustGo
We helped to elect a wolf in sheep’s clothing and now it’s our responsibility to right that wrong.
We put a vindictive-self-serving-narcissist-registered-in-name-only Democrat into office–and now it’s time for us to use the same amount of enthusiasm, energy, and money we poured into electing Sheriff Alex Villanueva into removing him from office.
🧵Hey, fam. Today between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. we're expecting an update on the vote count for #Compton's election. But let me tell you what you need to know before then about the voter fraud that's been reported. @LACountyRRCC@DCLogan@FBILosAngeles@LADAOffice
Remember when I exposed Compton council candidate Jace Dawson for lying about his nine degrees and working for Obama, Fox News, and several members of Congress?
Even with almost 200 votes, Jace came in last place during the primary. Jace then got into cahoots with none other than Isaac Galvan--who he ran against. Isaac then put him on a commission with the help of now outgoing councilwoman Tana McCoy and could be mayor Emma Sharif.

“The voters in my district took a stand against Joe Collins and Donald Trump in November, and we will most certainly defeat Joe Collins when he tries to run the same playbook in 2022...”
Waters continued. “We will defeat him because Joe Collins is not actually interested in getting elected to office. Running for office has become his job and a source of income to support a lifestyle as a right-wing troll and not to become a legitimate public servant.”
