Helen, I say this as an antifascist Jew & 3rd generation survivor of the Holocaust: you're racist & antisemitic.
Your book intellectually launders Bilek's transphobic adaptations of widespread conspiracies that rich Jews are corrupting society by funding progressive movements.
In January, while your book was being drafted, you have promoted Jennifer Bilek's "research" that targets Soros, Stryker, Pritzker, and Rothblatt as the "billionaire funders of transactivism". Current claims that you have no association with her will not erase this fact.
Bilek is well known for her praise of white nationalist Keith Woods, a relationship that is mutual. Woods has attended live streams of the Jan 6th insurrection at DC alongside Richard Spencer and Hunter Wallace. He also circulates anti-Black talking points about "black crime".
Bilek is following the footsteps of Derrick Jensen, a DGR founder featured on nationalist platforms such as Counter-Currents. C-C is run by Greg Johnson who writes that Jews are "the principal enemy" of "every attempt to halt and reverse white extinction." archive.ph/Y5Iih
For March 8th, you were scheduled to speak alongside Bilek and, when challenged because of her antisemitism, stayed silent. Further challenges on your association with Bilek gets dismissed as "defamation" while tokenizing Jewish colleagues.
What's more, Chapter 1's focus on Hirschfeld and the Institute of Sexual Science repeats much of the propaganda used by the Third Reich to justify burning his research on trans health. You conveniently leave out him being Jewish or the role this played in his persecution.
A critical review of the book, expanding on this + your disinfo about the Memory Wars, is forthcoming.
In the meanwhile, know this.
1. Your claims that people are "cheapening" antisemitism by calling this shit out is grossly insensitive to those of us impacted by the Holocaust.
2. Your privileged, hypocritical leverage of legal threats against trans people, including trans Jews, under the guise of us "silencing criticism" is an act of intimidation that holds no weight here.
My family took on the Nazis. "Legal action" is meaningless to me. Get lost.

Anyone want to inform H. Joyce that the journal Dissociation did not "shut down" in 1998? The ISSTD is still publishing under the Journal of Trauma & Dissociation & has been for some time. One would think such meticulous research would find this. scholarsbank.uoregon.edu/xmlui/handle/1…
It's also a pretty gross misrepresentation of the work of their editor, Jennifer J. Freyd, who has written extensively on the impact of betrayal trauma and DARVO - the very thing that GCs often go on about trans people supposedly perpetrating. isst-d.org/publications/j…
Jennifer J. Freyd's research is built from her own experiences and the experiences of many other survivors. The False Memory Syndrome Foundation (FMSF) was invented by her family to discredit her and, subsequently, CSA survivors around the world. thecut.com/article/false-…
Solidarity and strength to the antifascists, trans folks & allies, & journalists on the ground at Wi Spa facing the brunt of fascist & police brutality right now.
Many of us knew this was coming but that doesn’t stop the hurt. We need #TransLiberationNow more than ever.
And let’s be clear about one thing, cis folks.
If you’ve been asleep at the wheel and this doesn’t wake you up? If you still keep silent in public or you flirt with apologism?
Don’t expect to be trusted. And don’t expect us to wait around for you to get with the program.
For those who are still confused about what’s going on, @minusplnp of @trans_safety did a write-up of the disinfo campaign spreading as a result of CubanaAngel’s original video at the spa. Investigation reveals it to be a false flag. transsafety.network/posts/wispa-pr…
Sorry for the delay, we were at Boston's Trans Resistance march!
As people pay more attention to the pushback against critical race theory in schools, it's essential to highlight how "parent groups" are folding in "gender ideology" into complaints. The two are linked. 🧵
Starting off, a teen and her mother in Loudoun, Virginia push back against Loudoun County School Board's trans-inclusive policies: archive.ph/vYiUl
Something to note about the mother, Natassia Grover, is that she has written on this subject before in 2019. She was the co-founder of Parent and Child Loudoun and a member of Hands Across the Aisle, which campaigned against trans inclusion in schools. dailysignal.com/2019/05/16/men…
Earlier, @60Minutes released their segment about trans health care in the US. To represent detrans people, they platformed a leader of GCCAN and recommended them as a resource without digging into her or the organization’s background.
Let’s be clear: GCCAN is a front group.
I was part of the group’s founding as Vice President and one of two trans members of the board. While the claim was noble, as GLS tries to portray in the segment, in practice the organization and its members lobby in opposition to health care equity.
Most members of the board, including its former President and its current President, are notorious for their disingenuous efforts to “reform” trans health by painting trans people as a social contagion that need to be controlled. This does nothing to help trans or detrans people.
Yesterday was #DetransAwarenessDay, a day that should have highlighted unity between trans and detrans people for collective liberation.
Unfortunately, as the day progressed, it became evident that the initiative was uplifted by groups that reinforce systematic oppression.
We watched as practitioners or advocates of conversion therapy advertised themselves, trolls circulated trans-antagonistic memes, and even "positive" coverage from white nationalist media.
None of this benefits trans, detrans, or gender non-conforming people seeking health care.
What is more troubling is the fact that when said white nationalist coverage was brought to the organizers' attention, and they were asked to take a stand against it, we got dismissive responses.
As individuals who such groups seek to eliminate, this response is unacceptable.
Many thanks to @bloodandt3rf for this critically timed podcast. We truly appreciate all the energy our comrades across the pond have been putting into building bridges with US organizers to combat organized transphobia.
We’re here, we’re seeing it, and working our asses off.
Also a big thank you to @HarryJosieGiles for permission to mirror her Medium post mentioned in this podcast. American viewers looking for resistance strategies can find a copy here: healthliberationnow.com/2021/02/12/tra…
On that note, if there’s stuff in here that speaks to you and you’re worried about healthcare, reach out to us! HLN is piecing together archived intel, informative analysis of different groups and their networks of influence, and resistance strategies you can use on the ground.
