Important Covid reminder. Pulse oximeters measure oxygen saturation in the blood. If the oxygen drops below 90% (while sitting or walking) then the patient needs to be admitted for oxygen supplementation. Pulse oximeters cost about $15.
Pulse oximeters are a very effective way of triaging sick COVID patients where vaccines are unavailable. However, if you're fortunate to have access to vaccines then #GetVaccinated
Some of my followers in Australia, Africa etc don't have access to vaccines yet, which make pulse oximeters a good investment
