#MaskUp 🦠I contracted #Covid_19 in Nov. It was a mild case compared to others but I did go to the ER 7 days out from testing positive with some weird symptoms. After 4mo of tests I learned last week that I have COVID induced stage 3 CKD - chronic kidney disease.
I had my 2nd Pfizer shot in March and felt pretty safe about being unmasked when social distancing until I learned of my kidney situation. My Dr warned that if I was one of those that was infected w the #DeltaVariant (even a mild case) my kidney situation may worsen.
I wanted to tell my story so it might encourage people to be super careful and get lab work done if you’re had even a mild case of COVID to make sure you don’t have compromised organs. Sometimes symptoms don’t show till it’s too late. Get vaccinated and #MaskUp ❤️
