ASG Bhati: please keep in mind the allegations before reducing the cost

Adv AP Singh: Other cases are pending in Odisha and he is still in custody. There are three cases on same cause of action

Singh: during COVID he is in custody for over 1 year.

Justice Chandrachud: For what criminal case has he been arrested?

Singh: he was arrested for some messages circulated during the Jagannath Rath yatra

Justice Chandrachud: ohh.. he is in custody because of other cases

Justice Chandrachud: some application has been submitted on June 4 and says all sorts of things.

Justice Shah: he has been released on bail and now Singh should get instructions on payment of cost

Justice Chandrachud: your client has to pay we cannot keep adjourning this

Singh: The Balasore jail is so far if he was in Tihar we could have met and got instructions

Justice Shah: but you are his counsel so you have to

Singh: if you order me I will go

Justice Shah: how did you get the vakalatnama

Singh: it was sent attested from Jail

Justice Shah: but you got it from someone

Singh: okay then i will go, i will go to balasore in this condition

Justice Shah: look at the language in the application, it is like contempt

ASG Bhati: you should dismiss the IA, it does not warrant any more interference. property will be attached if necessary

Justice Chandrachud: we are wasting our time on this matter. The more we indulge this man the more he will file all these applications

SC: An application has been filed by Mukesh Jain on June 4, 2021 seeking reduction of cost of 5 lakhs. It was noted that original order was for 10 lakhs which was reduced in Oct, 2020 to 5 lakhs. The circumstances in which cost has been imposed is as per April 2017 order

SC: Even in this application Jain has made unfounded allegations against judges of this court. This application is thoroughly misconieved. the cost will be taken as arrears of land revenue. so long as the cost is not paid,

SC: no further PIL at behest of Jain will be entertained ny registry of this court. If any pil is filed present order will be placed on record.
