Vin Diesel, the rock, and Jason statham are keeping f&f franchise rolling despite meh writing and a brand that changed its meaning wildly in the last decade. Movie stars still matter but corporations don’t want them to.
Hollywood tries to prop up unlikeable trash actors then wonder why Tom Cruise can make mission impossible sequel #55 a hit every damned year.
Hollywood won’t release numbers on their various capesh11 streaming shows & films unless they do well. Believe me tho nobody would leave their house2see the loser who plays Vision, or scarlet witch who whatever. They’ll hide streaming numbers & tell us fans love these actors

Similar to neverland second star to the right and then straight on till morning.
#dnd often quantifies the concept of “belief” power similar to how KoED can be read, or Poul Anderson’s “the broken sword”. In the latter the Aesir and fey are dying off due to baptisms and allegiance to the White Christ.
@JohnsonJeffro vs @KasimirUrbanski Pit Fight
The tongueless bard with a palor of death walks the pit beneath the Silken Pony Inn. The sands rblack w blood. A night of bouts has the crowd raccous 4 more. The bard speaks with a haunting voice from the outer realms 1/ #dnd#brosr
Every Blood Moon these scum and vagabonds of the city of Cyfaraun gather for such bloodletting. Tonight’s main event was especially anticipated. Odds were 3 to 1 in favor of RPGPundit and the bookies struggle to keep up with bets. 3/ #brosr#auranempire#acks#dnd
Back to the future is about how the media can manufacture history through sheer force of will. Sort of like how they can meme the world into thinking there was a m4ssacre that didn’t actually happen.
Almost every time Marty travels it’s whilst driving towards media shop. Photo Hut, movie theater, abandoned drive-in screen.
You didn’t notice the movie theater he drives towards at the end of part1 is an 4dult theater in 1985. But your brain did.
“Imagine [some crap the undernourished kid in the black leather jacket at your high school used to say about Christianity before smirking knowingly then realizing everyone walked away to get some D0ritos from the snack machine]”
Fantasy fiction that doesn’t reference Christianity at least indirectly is simply s4tanic/luciferian/gnostic. Thus Christianity is relevant to it. And the author’s hide Christ from their fiction as a way of giving their readers despair.
Christ is always the elephant in the room for fantasy fiction. If you ignore him, as an author, you’re blind or you’re a irl villain.
I think this is what makes Nolan’s Batman trilogy interesting. It’s not contemplation about happiness utilitarianism but pondering what makes a good Philosopher King.
Ra’s al ghul and the league of shadows believe in top down control and, like our irl rulers, are prepared to sacrifice others to achieve it. Their endgame might actually be an ok utopia in theory, since we know Gotham (“the republic”) is terrible 2/
Scarecrow, the seeming first villain of the trilogy, wants to control people for the sake of control and his ego. He has no delusions it’s for a greater good & it shocked to find his masters, the league of shadows, imagine 1. 3/
