1/ Trumpist forces attacked government forces at Black Lives Matter Plaza on January 5. This battle remains unreported by media—though it was actually the beginning of the insurrection, and by the morning of January 6 everyone knew about it. The attack began at the Willard Hotel.

2/ Roger Stone has carefully hidden, and lied about, who he was with on January 5 and January 6. PROOF previously catalogued every Stone lie, and outlined what they hid and why. It's now clear Stone associates within the Proud Boys and InfoWars knew—as did Stone—what was coming.

3/ But it now appears that Stone knew what was coming on *January 5* as well as January 6, and hurriedly vacated the Willard Hotel in part because events were about to unfold there that would imminently lead to violence—on *January 5*, not January 6—at Black Lives Matter Plaza.

4/ The story of what happened January 5 is stunning; there's good reason to consider that day almost as important to the January 6 investigation as January 6—which is why Americans must stop saying, "We have to find out what happened on January 6." Events before are as important.

5/ Yes, the Oath Keepers are critical. So are the Three Percenters. So are the 1st Amendment Praetorians. But the group closest to InfoWars, Stop the Steal, and Trump's inner circle was the Proud Boys—and Stone had a Proud Boy aide *at his side* throughout his time in Washington.

6/ It's astonishing that, with all the conversation about Enrique Tarrio (who went to the White House pre-January 6 but wasn't in DC on that day), the since-arrested Ethan Nordean and Joe Biggs, and various Proud Boy foot soldiers, little has been written about Stone's Proud Boy.

7/ It's particularly shocking because the Willard was Ground Zero for the insurrection—with as many as three Trumpist war rooms running at once and almost every insurrectionist kingpin and/or lieutenant appearing there at some point.

And Stone was huddled with a Proud Boy there.

8/ I'm still trying to identify an associate of the said Proud Boy who was also with Stone at the Willard. I hope PROOF subscribers will contact me at the site—or via my website—with any tips on this. We know this man is an associate of the said Proud Boy *and* a Stone associate.

9/ The reason Roger Stone has threatened to sue PROOF is because PROOF has written more about Stone's malfeasance in DC in January than any outlet; this article is—I believe—PROOF's *twentieth* about Stone's mid-insurrection activities. Each one gets us closer to the full truth.

10/ What I'm working on now, with the indispensable help of PROOF readers, is a previously unreported January 5 meeting either at the Willard Hotel or TIH.

The location of all the insurrectionist kingpins at the Willard at each point that day is becoming more and more important.
