As I mentioned in this thread, KOCH worked extra hard to shift obligations from the Treasury to USPS

This one thing, if you look at it from NON rose colored glasses, was a way for KOCH to push to make USPS so unprofitable that it might have to be purchased by someone and create a private company…..it failed.

It was truly a single push, supported by most Republicans but it would come at a cost. KOCH hates government and wants privatization of almost everything related to government. I’m glad to see YELLEN push to ease any restriction that helps USPS now.

1/ Here’s one I identified below
It came out of the PAC money triangle in MO, OH, KY related to Greitens. Phones calls went nowhere, emails not answer and this one got $2Million delivered to Greitens campaign. Prince, Rohrabacher and others involved.

In case anyone is interested, I had a really interesting #GolfChartChat20 with someone new today. Yes, they are a Republican and yes, you might want to read this. I’ll keep it short.

THREAD
1/ Today, I played with someone new. Retired, VA Medical Center RN, with 3 grown kids.
I’ll use her initial K to identify her. She is retired, around my age, fit, Christian, Republican and a really nice person.
We started with general chat, talked about her husband and mine too…..and eventually got around to the Vaccine, Republicans, Christians, MAGA and more.

So K is a nurse, still works 1 day a week at the VA and helps provide vaccines to folks now. She’s vaccinated, so is her husband. Her 3 children are grown and they are too. I of her daughters is bi-sexual. That’s another story.

She lied about receiving a degree at Flagler College.
She is still lying on her Linked In page.

Sgt. Aquilino Gonell made me cry with his account of what he went through on January 6. He’s going to need rehab for at least another year. He said “that day (in part) at the Capitol was worse than his time during the war in Iraq”…….WORSE

He reminds everyone of his time dealing with “dicey” situations and that on January 6 was “anything he had every seen or imagined at the Capitol by an ARMED MOB…ARMED MOB. He was called a traitor, tased, beaten, and more.

When I saw this today, I naturally looked for an answer or the beginnings of an answer to the question. I mean why would Florida allow this Pasco Sheriff’s Office access to a database of foster children? What privacy laws have been broken?

Why are Foster Children being used like this? Who created this idea or this program and who approved it? So, let me try and identify it. I’m sure many of you have already done this, but I’ll take a shot at it anyway.

This is a program that no one liked. This particular Sheriff thought if they used, rosters, records, abuse history, days gone from school, etc, they could predict behavior. Clearly they didn’t think it through.

Today, I played golf again. It’s smoky, hazy and going to be 108 today again….I went out early and played with someone new. New to the club. We went out and played together. I hoped to encourage her to join our women’s group. I think I did…….but….

This will be short. New player, very nice, new to golf, needs work on her game (like we all do) and we chatted. Nothing in particular, just general stuff until it wasn’t..
Somewhere while our foursome was waiting to tee off, someone mentions vaccines and masks.

Asked the group whether they still wear masks into stores, etc., if they are vaccinated. I said “hell yes”.
The group basically said yes, with one person saying No. The new person.🥴
