So it you did not know, I am a bestselling author (12 books in tech & media) and wrote the first business book about social media (Communities Dominate Brands, in 2005) which is so old, Twitter is not even mentioned in the book, and MySpace was bigger than Facebook back then..
And two of my 12 books were on Social Media specifically. I lectured at Oxford University's first course about social media for mobile, literally the first such course taught anywhere on the planet (the way you now access Twitter on your iPhone. My course was before the iPhone)
So 'technically' as an 'expert' you are unlikely to find anyone who has written about, or lecture about social media for longer, & to more audiences than I have
I regularly give free advice to random Twitter followers here, and of course young Democrats who are joining politics
So what idiot & alleged attorney Jenna Ellis now did, is so epic case study of stupid, if I were to write another tech book about Social Media, I would put her into it as a case study. She took a meek trivial joke, and boosted it to an audience of 175,000. And most of them = GOP

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
In my first 8 years on Twitter, I sent 100,000 Tweets (ave 30 per day). Most of those were on tech topics
From 2015 to today, I've sent 140,000 Tweets (ave 60 per day). Most of them jokes about Trumpomobsters
Almost never, have name Republicans reacted
The ABSOLUTE dumbest thing anyone in power position can do is to engage on Twitter with a comedian (or one like me, who is not a real comedian, just plays one on Twitter). It is social media. You cannot win, but you will HELP SPREAD a joke that MOCKS YOU
Dumbest thing you can do
What idiot & alleged attorney Jenna Ellis just did, was take a lame joke of mine, that had less than 10,000 TOTAL REACH (among DEMs who KNOW the truth about Trump loser attorneys) & spread it to reach 175,000 - almost all REPUBLICANS. At least 150,000 who would never have seen it
Let's talk about the latest Trump Card scam a bit. A short thread
So this is nothing new. Trump has sold various celebrity scams before, his promised meetings, dinners etc. He had a Trump membership card already earlier in the campaign. That was a gold color card, not shit-brown
First. Trump loves anything that Hitler did. So the red armbands became his maga hats. The rallies, Trump did those. Trump briefly toyed with mass loyalty oaths at the rallies in 2016 (Republicans rushed in to stop him, it was too Hitler) and the occasional Nazi gestures..
Remember Trump's fave books (yes he has one) is Hitler's Speeches. Not Mein Kampf. Trump loves the APPEARANCE of Hitler. And is addicted to all that. He has dreamt of being Hitler.
Now these ID cards. They are yes like Nazi membership cards of history
We need to talk about the madness. As it is now clear, Trump KNEW there is no election fraud, and SAID SO to Republicans in December... let's expore insanity a little bit.
No. I do not mean how insane is Trump
I mean, how insane is the GOP
Thread on GOP Madness 2/
If you remember Walter Mondale campaign against Reagan in 1984, Mondale lost 40% to 59%. He lost every state except his home state
After that epic loss, imagine Mondale declaring, he will run in 1988 again. That would have been madness
Thread on GOP Madness 3/
But Trump lost by 4% in 2020, BEFORE his terrorist attack on America of January 6th. Today Trump support is at 38% nationally (So it is about the same as Mondale in 1984). It would be SHEER LUNACY to run Trump in ANY campaign ever again, by GOP. Lunacy
Most people have not yet grasped the importance of July 30
That date is when the TRAJECTORY changed on Trump path to prison
And more importantly, it is a major milestone in how eventually the nation will be CURED of Trumpism, magamadness & #Cult45
Smoking Gun Thread 2/
We who are not part of Trump cult, have seen it all happening and knew Trump is a serial con artist, running a scam, there was no voter fraud, he tried to stage a coup d'etat to hold onto power etc.
WE KNOW THIS. But there was plausible deniability
Smoking Gun Thread 3/
Up to July 29, 2021, the Trump team & those who side with him, could cling to plausible deniability strategy
They could claim that Trump HIMSELF did not launch the attack. This could in court be claimed as a victim defense. The rioters misunderstood Trump
