~EOS-3 will be launched aboard GSLV Mk III
~ 1st time vehicle’s payload fairing, nose of rocket where satellites r carried, will be a 4m ogive (bullet-like shape), making vehicle more aerodynamic.
~Same payload fairing is likely to be used for India’s HUMAN spaceflight. 🚀

* EOS-3 aboard its GSLV Mk III vehicle will be launched on August 12 at 5.43am from Sriharikota. *Real time monitoring of water bodies, forest cover etc. Will be helpful during natural disasters like floods.
So why doesn’t this have any military use? For military purposes resolution has to be very high like 40cm above ground level. Bt limitation with such satellites is that it can not cover a large area in one go and it needs many follow up satellites. India’ Cartosat is an example.
