10 examples of people in the NFT space spending $100s but making $1,000’s.

Think this is a space just for the rich?

Nope. It’s for the hustlers.

1/
2/ The NFT space seems very noisy at times.

Which is why certain projects are expensive to participate in.

High demand, low supply = high prices.

The work around? Find quiet places with promising upside.
3/ Early @niftygateway art.

Some early open editions and art were pretty affordable.

Like @grimemonday first drop where 415 were minted at $40 each. A total of $16.5k.

Now? Minimum $10k for a piece!
4/ This mad man selling a $25 minted Chromie Squiggle for $300k.

Minted in December, a bet on generative art and @ArtOnBlockchain.

@artblocks_io going crazy rn.

Grats @AkiraReloaded !
5/ NBA top shot.

What a beast that was. You could buy packs for $9, get minimum $1,000s worth of NFTs at one point.

Some People’s $100 investment hit $100k+ at its peak. Some $10k investors were sitting on millions.
6/ Uniswap Air drop $UNI. @Uniswap

Before they had a token, 1,000s of people were using uniswap to exchange $ to buy NFTs.

Uniswap airdropped 400 free UNI tokens to EVERY address that used it, whether it was a $1 exchange or $1M.

400 UNI is $12k right now 🤯
7/ @decentraland masks.

The first ever wearables released in Decentraland were these, free to claim, (if you do a quest), masks.

Not many people did them so not all were claimed.

They now go for $3-$5k
8/ @cryptovoxels origin city land used to be $100ish early 2019 now the cheapest is $10k!

Cryptovoxels has become an impressive virtual land project with humble beginnings.

If you weren’t distracted by all the noise you would have seen it.
9/ .@beeple

His first ever /100 drop was $1! If you were lucky enough to get it.

Then you’d be sitting on $100-$200k right now conservatively.

Just the other day 1 sold for ~$300k!

Not to mention those airdrops that have paid for people’s houses.
10/ @AxieInfinity Axies.

Any Axie is minimum $300-$500 now but 7-10 months ago they were $5-$10 each.

You would have had a ton of them if you were just playing the game for fun and part of the community.
10/ NFT related #crypto.

$MANA
$SAND
$AXS
$ETH
$FLOW
$MATIC

Many others that are NFT related have 10-100x’d by now!

$50 would have done pretty damn well!
11/

Mooncats, Etheria, Curio Cards,

All these pre-punks or near punks release projects that were forgotten about and resurfaced.

If you were “in the know” you could have minted many of them for cost price.

A bet on history.
12/ Creating Art/projects.

Artist or not, the world of opportunity being a creator is open to everyone.

Whether that’s creating art, a collectible project, podcast, blogging, etc.

There is so much appetite for entrepreneurship here it’s insane!
13/ what do all these have in common?

Being involved in the space or projects when it’s quiet and isn’t being talked about (yet), by the masses.

This is where people with either experience, a lot of research or just out of fun, find something they love, that others will in time
14/ There is still ample opportunity out there.

Some possible under the radar projects,

- rarepepe’s on counterparty

- MLB Cryptobaseball, (a 2018 forgotten project that I THINK* may have been the first licensed sports brand NFTs)

- Gods unchained cards if the game picks up
15/

- Axie infinity land play items

The above are just some that I think may at some time go nuts and are cheap still, (I own a few of the above).

The reality is you gotta dig deeper, research more, be connected and just work harder finding gems.
16/ Finding where others are NOT here yet, is how you turn $100s into $1,000s.

Or you’ll have to pay big $ to participate in all the Twitter mentioned/pumped project because by that time, everyone knows.

If you’re having fun, it’s probably worth something 🔥
Also there’s Cryptopunks, autoglyphs and all the free early mintable projects ofcourse.

Cryptopunks weren’t being claimed till a Mashable article brought it to everyone’s attention.

There are 100s of undiscovered unicorns around us. Just gotta hunt.

Just purchased 6 @etheria_feed tiles for a total of 151 #ETH, (~$440,000 USD), (~25 ETH each).

The VERY first NFT project on Ethereum. (2015). Predates punks by 2 years!

As more knowledge spreads about the history of NFTs, pretty sure this one is where it began for Ethereum.
1/ ImageImage
2/ Pretty sure it's also the first virtual land project on blockchain. Big deal as the metaverse takes shape imo.

The fact that I can upload to this space is cool af.

Might make it a @themetakey thing to upload community art here every now and then.
3/ Current cheapest available is 32 ETH.

2 sold today at 40 ETH each. Image

6 Reasons #cryptopunks sell for millions $$$.

THREAD 👇

1/
2/ One of the first NFTs on Ethereum, inspired the ERC-721 Token Standard, (Main NFT standard).

(For a very long time they were regarded as THE first until recently some other projects were found to predate them).

Still extremely historic. Image
3/ There's only 10,000 of them which means as demand comes in, naturally price would increase.

Fixed Supply. Image

10 NFT Avatar projects, (pfp), that are doing MORE than just dropping 10k Avatars.

The future of this model is to evolve beyond a fad into a way to virally build an engaged and vested community.

No particular order,

Thread 1/ 👇
2/ Disclaimer,

I don't know how serious they all are in building their road map so invest at your own risk.

But the ideas are COOL and if built out can be very powerful.
3/ @CyberKongz

Own a cyberkong and earn 10 $BANANA/day

Also has a breeding mechanic, a discord with verified roles and doing a lot in the Sandbox.

Breaking down the $100M+ @AxieInfinity economy.

From 1,700%+ user base since Jan to entire families earning money in third world countries,

How are people making money?

1/ Let's explore. 👇
2/ $126M has been traded in the last 30 days, eclipsing every other NFT project in the space.

An Axie sells pretty much every 5-10 seconds.

For a project 3 years in, this is a pretty big deal.
3/ In Feb-March 2018 Axie Infinity ran their presale.

You could buy a beast, aquatic or plant Axie. Every purchase would bump the price higher.

~3,000 Axies were adopted raising 900ETH.

These are referred to as "origin" axies and with now 1.3M Axies available, are pretty rare.

What's the final phase of NFTs?

Many of us think we're heading towards an open Metaverse.

What does that even mean?

Let's explore,

1/
2/ A core concept with NFTs is to give measurable value to digital items.

Be it your art, your land, your name, heck, even effort from you and your friends to be social can be monetized, (social tokens).

We've seen a lot of this in recent years.
3/ So what's this Metaverse thing?

For me, it's alternate connected digital realities where people work, play, experience, etc.

For the above to be achieved, value needs to be given to digital effort, identity and assets.

N👏F👏T or blockchain in general.

This whole article from @BBC has me so triggered 🙄

one sided take based on ONE attempt to buy an NFT from a 4 yr old project.

bbc.com/news/technolog…
1/ Who’s Mr.Gerard?

The markets fake? There’s over 100,000 active wallets on @opensea,

50k+ daily players of some blockchain games,

4 yrs of organic growth in the NFT industry across over 20 sectors.

Yet apparently it’s fake. smh. We’re all fake. Image
2/ Yes, @VitalikButerin made Ethereum purposely complicated to trick people into losing $ buying NFTs. 😂

Who are these experts? There’s several of them apparently. Image
