India has so far only fully vaccinated 11.55 crores of its total population (8.5%) and 28.81 crores are partially vaccinated (21.2%).
This map shows the state-wise % of the population who have fully and partially vaccinated #COVIDVaccination
Today onwards I am using the data points "fully vaccinated" & "partially vaccinated", as most of global databases use for global comparison.
GoI & State Govts conveniently use doses. Pls note that 1st dose numbers include the ones who got 2nd dose too.
Also I am comparing this with total population rather than 18 plus population, which is eligible as of now!
Though 18 plus population is our immediate target, our ultimate target is total population.
No ifs and buts here!
When advanced nations will start vaccinating their under 18 population, we will then also struggle to vaccinate 18 plus population, no doubt with this snail pace of vaccination!
Thanks to the seamless availability of vaccines ensured by the Government of India! 😡

Former Central Information Commissioner Professor M Sridhar Acharyulu said that the SBI was interpreting Section 7(9) of the RTI Act incorrectly.
“Information can only be denied using an exception and Section 7(9) is not an exception. It is a facilitating section. Authorities are under statutory obligation to compile and categorise their own activities and keep it ready for disclosure,” said Acharyulu.
#Kerala has so far vaccinated 1.576 crores of its citizens for #COVID19
The state had fully vaccinated 64.43 lakhs (18.6%) while they had partially vaccinated 93.17 lakhs (26.9%).
See a map of the district-wise vaccine numbers as % of total projected population 2021
The figure in brackets represents the % of total population who are partially vaccinated.
While Pathanamthitta leads the tally with 29.6% of its population fully vaccinated, Malappuram with 12.8% is at the bottom.
If we take the % of people who got at least a single jab as % of the overall population, Wayanad with 66.1% leads the pack. Both Pathanamthitta & Ernakulam also vaccinated more than 60%.
While with only 29.7% Malappuram is at the bottom. Palakkad with 38.0% it just above..
Covid-19 severely infected over 7,000 vaccinated people in #Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, a six-member central team learnt during its recent visit to the state
While research and anecdotal evidence during the second wave have indicated there have been breakthrough infections and variants, especially Delta, overcame vaccine-induced immunity, the recorded data of such a high figure is a cause for concern.
Collector of Pathanmthitta Divya S Iyer confirmed to ET that atleast “5042 people turned positive after two doses of vaccines of which 258 turned positive after completing two weeks after two doses”.
All India #COVID19 vaccination status, I have taken the TOTAL projected population 2021 as per National Population Commission Report.
The highlighted states are poorly performing in vaccniation where their percentage is than the national average figures.
As promised, I here have taken the projected data of the adult population above 18 years for the year 2021 given by National Population Commission Report, 2019 & the table shows their numbers.
The highlighted states' %vaccinations are below national average figures...
Will soon create a GIS map for better visualisation
