What a surprise: @CNN pushing out dishonest propaganda to run cover for the Biden administration.

Since @brikeilarcnn won't tell the truth about this border crisis and my efforts to stop it, I will.

THREAD (1/12)
To start, this graph is what CNN wants you to believe about Biden’s COVID protocols at the border, but the red line starting in May appears to show the CUMULATIVE number of T42 expulsions since Biden took office, not MONTHLY number
2/
The graph here, however, is based on the Biden administration’s ACTUAL CBP numbers for the month of June. (Source: @profmjcleveland)

CNN fudged Biden's own numbers for him

3/
Next, as @profmjcleveland writes and as @repherrell and I pointed out months ago, the administration has severely curtailed its enforcement of Title 42 at the border.

To imply that they’re using the policy the same way is laughable.

4/
Here’s what I mean, the administration stopped enforcing Title 42 for many family units and unaccompanied minors.

That, along with other reckless Biden border policies, sent a bright signal to cartels and coyotes that the era of catch and release had returned.

5/
If you don’t believe that, look at the border records we’ve seen

By the end of June, we had over 1MM encounters this FY

July preliminary border numbers at highest monthly level since 2000

Despite all this, Biden’s T42 exclusions DROPPED in June (Source: @profmjcleveland)
6/
In fact, despite the fact that encounters keep going up, the percentage of Biden’s expulsions has been declining (left)

Now, the number of T42 expulsions almost matches the number of aliens allowed in (right)

(54% of aliens turned away in June under T42 vs 81% in Jan)

7/
And what have we seen as a result?

In this regard, things like COVID positive migrants just dumped into Texas communities like La Joya and a massive spike in cases in the Rio Grande Valley, thousands of COVID-positive migrants dropped in McAllen

8/
Recently, the Biden administration made headlines for deciding to “continue” Title 42

As disappointed as open-borders radicals were about that, all Biden did was maintain the broken piecemeal enforcement that led to this crisis in the first place

thecannononline.com/biden-extends-…

9/
So we’ve got record border numbers and declining enforcement. What dwindling Title 42 enforcement the administration has left in place is the one thing standing between how bad things currently are and a full-scale rush on our southern border like we’ve never seen.

10/
That is why I introduced a discharge petition with @RepHerrell to force the House to vote on fully reinstating Title 42 as it was enforced under President Trump.

You can see if your Rep has signed it or not here (a lot of Rs still haven’t …)

clerk.house.gov/DischargePetit…

11/
So that's the truth about Biden’s Title 42 failures

@Brikeilarcnn, if you or anyone from @JeffZucker’s PR firm would like to see what’s really going on in TX every day & night at the border, I’d be happy to show you around

Only catch: You'd have to report it truthfully

Yesterday in McAllen: @CBP overwhelmed. No room to process illegals inside, so have to wait outside under bridge. Just in 24 hrs in 2 stations, encountered over 3,400 (1700 MCS & 1300 RGVS). Currently holding over 7,000 illegals w/ some 5,000 waiting… #BorderCrisis (1/5)
…It’s over 100 degrees. The 2 stations have combined capacity of 620 – holding 7000! From Agent with over 2-1/2 decades of service -  “they are way past capacity – so aliens sit outside because where do you take them? …it’s a nightmare – people want to go to bathroom… (2/5)
