Looks likely China may soon learn what happens when you abuse the trust and patience of Peter Embarek:

"Maybe someone is not at all interested in finding out what the truth is"

translate.google.com/translate?sl=a…
Case in point: the (non)search for patient zero:
And as #DRASTIC has kept highlighting:

According to Peter Embarek, he is hardly the world's very first infected - that is, patient zero.

- He may have just gotten it one day in the subway or on a bus or in a store, says Peter Embarek.
Good point made about the doping tests at the Wuhan military games:
And again the compromise:

- If it had been categorized differently, it would probably have required a week more, maybe some more discussion and arguments for and against, and I did not think it was worth it, says Peter Embarek.
Anyway, many thanks to @Peterfoodsafety for discussing this with TV2.

He had a very difficult job to do, and the compromise the team reached actually left them worse off.

But the failure goes back to the negotiation of the ToRs. Maybe he could tell us about that too.

A very interesting interview with Peter Embarek for TV2 in Denmark.

translate.google.com/translate?sl=a…
Until 48 hours before we finished the whole mission, we still had no agreement that we would talk about the laboratory part of the report, so it was right up to the end that it was discussed whether it should be included or not, says Peter Embarek.
We did not get to look at laboratory books or documents directly from the laboratory. We got a presentation, and then we talked about and asked the questions we wanted to ask, but we did not get to look at any documentation at all, says Peter Embarek.

The irony is that this repeats word for word the Guangdong regulations of 2010.
It's just like a broken record.
See the article about the 2010 regulations from Guangdong:

"Some used laboratory animals are on the table, and no one knows what kind of experiments they have been used for."

That very first picture of SARS-CoV-2 was taken on the 7th Jan 2020 by Song Jingdong (宋敬东), associate researcher at the Beijing Institute of Virology and a student of Hong Tao.
The Beijing Institute of Virology under precisely Hong Tao leaked SARS four times in 2004 (in total 11 cases, one dead, 1,000 people in isolation)

There was a cover up, the WHO was ejected from the investigation and Hong Tao was never blamed. Untouchable

But bad habits die hard, and as we just learnt a senior scientist got infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the Beijing Institute of Virology in Jan or Feb 2020.

Another SARS lab accident in the same lab. Nothing changes.

This confirms the conclusion a paper by Ben Hu, Shi Zheng Li et al:

“SARSr-CoV evolution is strongly correlated with their geographical origin, but not host species.” (Hu et al., 2017)"

Every day brings more nonsense in Chinese media.

They worked so hard to create a nice little story of immaculate infection via imported frozen food - good reason to fill rather disappointed that it did not catch up.

news.cgtn.com/news/2021-08-0…
“A recent study from the National Institutes of Health in the U.S. revealed that the coronavirus was already spreading in the U.S. in early December 2019 - a humiliating slap in the face for politicians who claimed they have enormous evidence the virus came from a lab in Wuhan” Image
That certainly deserves top marks for creative writing.

They nearly got there though.
They managed to get the perfect debilitating ToRs, hoodwinked a few well groomed useful idiots by claiming a moral high ground, and got the near perfect result from the China-WHO Potemkin tour. Image

This paper can be found below.
It actually says preciously little that is new - only puts a new twists on well known facts while ignoring the logical issues that the suggestions in the paper raise.

The poor pangolins are again rolled out for the purpose.

Let's start by what is clear and well accepted: the market was just an amplificator event, on line #2 of Wuhan tube.

An haplotype network shows that the samples isolated at the Huanan Seafood Market do not cluster the ancestral lineages - no jump to human there.
