I said "Taxes Don't Fund Federal Spending" I was hated & called a libertarian.
When I said UBI is a neoliberal trojan horse to destroy the social safety nets, I was hated.
When I say states are currency users & demonstrate the constraints, I am hated.

In the end, those who choose a lie over truth ultimately destroy progress. Splitters destroy solidarity.
Everyone has an angle.
So few set their compass to true north.
So few invest themselves in a pursuit of truth & progress. When it gets hard they cave.

I value those who make the pursuit of knowledge and truth to be the highest calling of our lives and to use that truth to change the world. To be changed by truth. Not succumb to peer pressure or the hate of those not seeking truth.

To be of two minds... One of truth and one of a spineless follower is a duality I am Ill equipped to capitulate to.

A small and committed force of truth tellers can win the war at the hot gates.

So, know this, as nice as the idea of capitulation may sound.

I am a warrior. My words are the words of a man committed to truth. A man who wants to do good. To change the world. Not cave in to failed strategies that I know are wrong. Not because Ibam a genius... But simply because I skipped the party and learned.

When a strategy is bad, it will fail. In the end... If it is wrong... It is wrong.

Those of us in recovery have learned "To Thine Own Self Be True"... It allows me to lay my head down on the pillow to sleep. It allows me to look my son in the eye and know that his dad isn't one to go off the cliff of popularity. The future will be created by our choices today.
