Feminism, or the women’s movement, has been maligned on account of Western academic theory, which has little to do with the material reality of women and girls globally, and is not representative of the issues, concerns, or struggles of women and girls worldwide.
Imagine, for instance, telling a woman in India struggling to feed her children that “sex work is work” and she ought to feel empowered by choosing between starvation and rape.
Imagine, again, telling women in South Africa, euphemistically called “the rape capital of the world” that her attacker is more oppressed than she is because he identifies as a woman.
Imagine teaching young girls in Egypt that female genital mutilation is an exclusionary term, in a country where killing a woman for the supposed crime of adultery is de-facto legalized.
There is no rational, humane way to export gender identity ideology, dreamed up by Western academics and promoted by ‘cam girls’ online who never have physical contact with a man, who never fear for their lives, to most countries in the world. It is ideological colonization.
But women are organizing globally for their rights, and the women's movement not reflected by Western academia currently has, as its goal, an end to male violence, peace, an end to suffering and child marriage; these aims are the beating heart of solidarity and sisterhood.
What an awful insult to all women that Western gender identity ideology is being exported and so quickly adopted in policies and universities, the most privileged countries seeming almost deliberate in choking out women's resistance in nations where the worst abuses occur.
Those who carry on about intersectionality and inclusion are by far the most privileged people, with free time, internet connections, university degrees, and egos to feed, but I honestly believe the swelling tide of international sisterhood will, eventually, overcome.

The TRA who charged a woman and screamed “witch” in her face recorded themselves walking to the protest, saying, “We have to put the TERFs in their place”, and “they won't know what’s coming to them”, referring to women as “evil” and “demonic”. @policescotland #WomenWontWheesht

Streaming pornography has facilitated an increasing prevalence of sadomasochism in society.
In May, TikTok was made to remove more than 500,000 accounts in Italy following an intervention by the country’s data protection watchdog after a 10-year-old girl died of asphyxiation after participating in a BDSM “blackout challenge”. techcrunch.com/2021/05/12/tik…
The 10-year-old girl in Italy died after taking part in a "choking game" on TikTok.
BDSM and choking are promoted by both adults and teens with nearly 300 million views combined for the search terms.
One of the most glaring conceptual problems with gender ideology is that it frames women's rights — to safety, privacy, boundaries, autonomy — as bigotry against men. It is abusive in every sense of the word, and paints women as cruel oppressors should they refuse men's demands.
Women do not require safe spaces because they are bigots. Quite the opposite: women need safety from men who are misogynists, who would rape them or kill them. Yet gender ideologues prioritize the feelings of a few fetishists over the lives of women and girls.
In June a video depicting a woman at #WiSpa complaining of a nude male in the women's section went viral, prompting protests.

Several mainstream media outlets referred to the incident as a "transphobic hoax", and even after five women filed reports with the LAPD, @Slate@guardian@thedailybeast@washingtonpost@thenation have not yet retracted this baseless claim.
Merager is also facing six felony counts of indecent exposure.
"Merager claims to identify as female so he can access women’s locker rooms and showers," reads an internal flyer by the LA Sheriff’s Department sent to law enforcement departments in southern California in late 2018.

“It just feels like I’m being punished for basically being experimented on when I was a child,” said Derricott, of Lawton, Okla. “I’d hate for a child to be put on Lupron, get to my age and go through the things I have been through.”
