They want to exonerate their association with ZanuPF misrule for all their adult life by reminding us that "MDC supported the coup" in 2017.
In doing so, they expose their hidden anger, towards citizens & the MDC, for "aiding their fall from grace."
3] Politically, the coup became bigger than MDC.
Citizens wanted the albatross, RG gone, by means necessary or unnecessary.
Ironically, they wont admit to have played different roles in ensuring that there wouldnt be a change of government through the ballot in Zimbabwe.
4] Thirdly, they pretend like a coup only happened in 2017.
This is because unlike the previous ones, the one in 2017 heavily impacted their factions.
The army has been coup-ing Zimbabweans since 2000.
Mugabe long became an illegitimate, military installed & imposed president.
5] Fourthly, they want to push the narrative that "we/RG helped Nero win in 2018".
Win what?
The MDC has always won elections.
If the MDC would defeat a whole RG, why would a whole Chamisa fail to defeat that one who has never won any election in his 50 year political career?
6] What the Opposition needs from ex-ZanuPF bigwigs, are strategies on how win power, not elections.
The latter has never been a problem.
But then, these are the same people who for years, enjoyed being part of a system that entrenched ZanuPF hegemony.
You're not victims.
7] Fifthly, they need to disabuse themselves from this hope that the democratic alternative will desperately make itself attractive & accommodative to them.
More so by being apologetic about historical facts, and their acts of omission and commission.
We cant afford to forget.
8] Sixthly, some grownups need to stop amplifying silly things.
There are no gods on these streets.
Almost everyone is challenged & "insulted".
Chamisa has no business apologising on behalf of individuals, who tweet their opinions, regardless of how vile they may seem to some.
9] To capture the dishonesty, already, Chamisa is being threatened with a defeat to ED in 2023, least he issues some nonsensical public apology.
Funny enough, some of the engagements being called vile, only just challenged the opinions of these self-styled superior beings.
10] I'm for Convergence
But some pple need to:
i. own their past
ii. Know there are no gods here
iii. Stop patronizing citizens
iv. Accept that they are now just individuals, not any more superior nor important...
'Since we last spoke, there's been systematic attempts to dismember @mdczimbabwe. They have taken our MPs & given them to other parties, some of which didnt exist in 2018. They've taken our properties & given them to Mwonzora'
'GoZ has taken money we are entitled to. The hypocrisy is astounding. They initially gave the money to DM as MDC-T, now he is trying to reconstitute a new alliance, but still calling it MDC-A. The new gazette now says the money will be given to MDC-A'
'This is a new DM led MDC-A, not the one previously led by NC which won those votes. This DM led MDC-A now includes PDP party led by Matibenga who was in a rivalry alliance led by Mujuru. We are now being told we must believe they are part of the MDC-A.."
1] This development has to be the worst kept secret.
As expected, the puppet party is moving for the ALLIANCE name.
The concern for me, is that the democratic alternative risks being left internally focused, the reason why the regime sponsored the infamous SC judgement.
2] The hypocrites in the puppet party (28 July), claimed that only 3 parties constitute their MDC-A coalition Principals Forum.
This was in response to the Guchutu expulsion letter.
Fast forward to August, their coalition now has 6 Principals all over gain.
It's all hypocrisy.
3] This "coalition" without Chamisa, Ncube, Biti is absolutely useless.
None amongst the parties & "leaders" who constitute this coalition was voted for in 2018.
Soon, they will be faced with the conundrum of choosing the best useless candidate amongst themselves, for 2023.
1] Was looking forward to seeing a tweet like that one tagged below.
Will 'ZanuPF people' ever own up to their actions?
Suddenly ED's spin doctors, Nick Mangwana and Charamba must he treated as "victims" after being exposed for their senseless lies and vitriol respectively.
2] So it's okay for ED's spokesperson to insult HH using vernacular & a ghost account?
Translating & exposing this to HH and/or his officials is "gaslighting"?
You can't have your cake and eat it too.
I'm sure ZanuPF will soon criminalize this, using their proposed cyber laws
3] Again, noone provoked whoever wrote that embarrassing lie, of a whole President running around hotels looking for Mnangagwa!
It's just propaganda gone horribly wrong.
Noone should feel sad for Nick Mangwana now that the lies he shared are being exposed.
1] Someone reading this from mukoma Goerge perhaps will only focus on the "chinhu chine vene vacho" mantra.
These "madhara ehondo nemahovhorisi" have monopolized the country and only wish to take turn to rule it.
Yet this isn't all that Goerge is attempting to do here...
2] What Goerge is actually trying to do, is promote voter apathy.
Don't get it twisted, it's not just the democratic alternative that is "learning" from both the Malawi & Zambia political developments.
ZanuPF is learning also.
They are worried sick and are dreading elections.
3] That tweet from Goerge, equally betrays his and ZanuPF's collective fear of @nelsonchamisa
When you see the spin doctor of a regime that is propagating the narrative that Chamisa is finished, continuously attacking him daily, know that they don't believe their own lies.
